Case History:
Day 1 - A 42- year old woman presents from the Emergency Department (ED) of a community hopsital complaining of intense pain of the right eye accompanied by copius tearing, light sensitivity and moderate photophobia and blurry vision.  The patient was not given any medical treatment at the ED because she was to see me the next morning. Her IOP at the prior ED visit was 16/13..

Physical Exam. Entrance vision without lenses as OD 20/50- and OS 20/40-. Her body temperature was 98.0F and her BP was 102/80.   IPO's were 24/13 at 1;550m. The gonioscopic examination revealed cloudy cornea, but open angles. The trabecular meshwork was barely seen. 

The clinical impression was acute glaucoma with a possible uveitic component.  Co-Sopt, 1drop, OD, BID was started and she was advised to return in 1 day.
