We went on a two-week cruise around Europe in September, visiting eight countries including Morocco. Here we are in Gibraltar, looking up...
...and looking down (at our cruise ship below).
Although we only spent a short day in each place, we got to see a lot. The highlight was probably Barcelona, which is worth much more than a day and none of the pictures we took do it justice. Check out Sagrada Familia--unbelievable.

I even got to see a Russian submarine up close, in a Belgian museum.
Overall, Europe was clean and things ran smoothly. We didn't have any exposure to some of the negative things people sometimes talk about. I was surprised at the maturity of the school-age children. ["What an educational system--six-year-olds speaking fluent French!" Steve Martin]

And here are some girls meeting at the liquor store, for example.
