  This was an intern position as a research assistant working on the Cheyenne River Habitat Assessment. I volunteered one day to help at an archaeological dig with the state archaeological research center while visiting a friend who was working on site.

Hobbies and other interests:
I am an avid outdoors person. I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, and caving. I also enjoy nature observation, history, archaeology, and photography. I get pleasure from taking people to the outdoors, and showing what can be learned if we just take the time to see what is around us. I have a great interest in our natural and historical resources, and the conservation of them. I also enjoy cooking, working on the computer, doing home maintenance, and gardening.
