SEPTEMBER 25, 2004 - Leduc, AB

Here are the results for the Back to school bash September 25, 2004.

Opening of the show saw Adrian Walls announce that Dante Priest was unable to make the event as previously planned.  He confronted Commissioner Ted Venom about who he would face for the RCW title.  Suddenly Old School Chris Wayne made his presence felt.  Wayne appeared to have a fairly large chip on his shoulder from the last time he squared off against the champ.  What do you know? Sean Courage made his way to the ring and demanded his own title shot.  The Commissioner made a decision that appeared fair to all involved.  Old School Chris Wayne vs Sean Courage was set for number one contender spot.

Match #1

Vulture vs Danny Manners for RCW lightweight title.

Vulture came out and addressed the Leduc fans who were completely opposed to what the champ had to say.  He was attempting to opt out of his title match with Danny Manners but that would not be the case.  After an exchange of words Commissioner Venom decided to get involved yet again.  Submission match was made and it was on.  After exchanging a flurry, vulture gained the upper hand and went to work on the legs of Manners.  Vulture stopped Manners at every turn when it appeared he would gain the upper hand.  Manners showed a tremendous amount of resilience and found the opening he needed.  He caught the champ south of the border and scored a quick three count.  Manners received the belt from Referee Perry Milano and was elated.  That would not last however.  Commissioner Venom berated the returning referee and reminded him that the match had the stipulation of being victory by submission only.  Milano's only option was to restart the match.  Vulture was quick to capitalize and clamped on the ankle lock for the submission victory.  Still RCW lightweight champ Vulture.

Match #2

Chris Wayne vs Sean Courage number one contender

Right from the start Old School Chris Wayne had the match in control stopping any offensive attacks from Courage.  Wayne demonstrated the distinct advantage that experience provides to a veteran schooling Courage in a true whoopin'.  Winner with a sharpshooter submission Old School Chris Wayne, setting up the first half of the main event Adrian Walls vs Chris Wayne.

Match #3

Match #3 started in an impromptu fashion.  While Courage was regaining his senses, Damion ran in and picked the leftovers that Chris Wayne left behind.  He was quickly stopped with the surprise return of Mad Dog Madison.  Commissioner Venom again made his presence felt by making a tag match on the spot with Damion and Styles taking on Sean Courage and Mad Dog Madison.  It was quickly established that Mad Dogs bark was far superior to his bite as Courage and Mad Dog were handily dispatched by the larger team of Styles and Damion.  Winners Damion / Styles.

Main Event #1

RCW title match

"Old School" Chris Wayne vs Adrian Walls

The bad blood from these to combatants was clearly evident as they went at each other from the opening bell.  Both men pulled out everything they could to try and gain the advantage.  It appeared that Walls may be drained after being the busiest Alberta based Indy wrestler in September having wrestled in Ontario, Manitoba, Minnesota and Saskatchewan before showing up in Leduc.  After a lengthy battle worthy of high praises both men were battered and bloody, but in the end there could be only one RCW Champion and on this day Adrian Walls was just not willing to give up the gold.  Your winner and still RCW Champion Adrian Walls.

Main Event #2

Tag Team Title Match.

After attacking the Primetime players during a promo, Steven Styles issued a challenge for a Leduc Street fight to the Primetime Players and just like that the main event had been set.  Damion and Styles would prove to be worthy foes for the tag team champs.  The primetime players wasted no time in seeking retribution for the attack by Styles earlier in the evening.  The players attacked barely after their opponents came through the curtain, busting Damion open with a pipe to the head.  After laying out Styles with a pipe as well, the primetime players proceeded to tape Damion to the ring ropes and open up the head wound.  This chain of events led to the systematic dismantling of Steven Styles.  The Primetime players came ready for war bringing a portion of chain link fence covered in barb wire as well as a barb wire 2x4.  All of which became very crucial to the outcome of the match up.  Bad Boy Jay showed some creative use of a steel folding ladder, both using it to land on his foe as well as landing on it himself as Styles reversed multiple Irish whips sending both of the Players crashing into the unforgiving steel.  It appeared that the champs had the match almost over after hitting a spectacular springboard moonsault on Styles on the ladder.  Bad Boy Jay had ascended the ropes when a masked assailant only known as Assassin #5 through an unidentified substance in his eyes, causing him to be incapacitated.  Steven Styles was able to connect with his version of the Styles Clash for the one, two, three.  After losing a substantial amount of blood, the likes of which have not been seen since the heyday of Abdullah the Butcher and the Original Sheik.  Damion became one half of the new RCW tag team champions along side Steven Styles.  Damion earned fourteen stitches for his efforts.
