These are my only RD400s at present and they are both in the UK now.

Since April of 2005, I have been spending most of my time back home in England and brought with me my 77 RD400D, "Buzz" and my 79 RD400F Daytona Special. This site will have to be rebuilt, some of the bikes  have been sold. However my passion for the bikes as you will see, is still with me. The Daytona is now smoking up the roads of the New Forest in Hampshire, England. Photos will follow soon. Two recent additions in the UK have been a 900TDM and an 89 XT600Z Tenere. Put your feet up, grab a coffee or beer and enjoy your visit to my Yamaha world in Canada and now back home in England too.

My news for the end of 2005 is the purchase of a TDM900. My first new motorcycle since 1976.  First impressions are what a great bike. I plan to tour Great Britain, so follow my progress and see the bike on it's own long overdue page '05 Yamaha TDM 900

I would like to say a very big thank you to the guys at Recycle. Without this shop, my motorcycle collection would not exsist. Most of the bikes I own and most of the parts I have required have come from here. It is a shop I worked at for two happy years. Rick at Hein Gericke in Southampton did me a huge favour recently which helped me get my TDM back on the road. Cheers It's proved to me that there are some good people in this world. How many times have you gone into a shop to be told " sorry, can't help you" Rick's a solutions guy if ever you have a problem, he'll do his best to help, as he did for me. They have a bike night at the Bargate in Southampton on Thursday night's.

I had to show you this photo. I tried to ride through what was left of the snow from the winter of 2004. I did not make it as you can see. The bike is held up by the snow.

These bikes were also part of the collection I had in Canada. A 72 CS5, a 73 RD200, a 72 DS7 and a 73 RD350. They all still have their own pages on this site, check the top of this page.
