be no more in remembrance.  For they have consulted together with one consent:
they are confederate against thee: The tabernacles of Edom, and the
Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes; Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the
Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; Assur also is joined with them: they
have holpen the children of Lot.  Selah.  Do unto them as unto the Midianites;
as to the Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: Which perished at Endor:
they became as dung for the earth.  Make their nobles like Oreb, and like
Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, Zalmuna: Who said, Let us take to
ourselves the houses of God in possession.  O my God, make them like a wheel;
as stubble before the wind.  As a fire burneth a wood, and as the flame
setteth the mountains on fire; So persecute them with thy tempest, and make
them afraid with thy storm.  Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek
thy name, O Lord.  Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them
be put to shame, and perish: That men may know that thou, whose name alone is
JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth."
    Sounds like the battle lines are clearly defined between those on the
Lord's side and those opposed, the trichotomous versus the dichotomous.  In
further chapters I will set forth some of the players mentioned above, whom I
have not yet placed with scripture such as the Edomites.  I have previously
elicited, but not expanded on Genesis 10:14 showing that Ham sired Mizraim,
who sired Casluhim, who sired Philistim, the father of the Philistines,
located in present day Palestine.  Though the Philistines figure prominently
in the history of the nation of Israel, little more can be found in scripture
regarding the genealogy of the Philistines, and apparently their exile was
related to that of Ham.
    Ishmael, with his intelligence and strength, had to be one of the leaders
who started and planned this rebellion against God's plan for the land of
Canaan that finally prompted Asaph to write the 83rd Psalm.  In fact, it would
appear, from verse 14 that the counsel came from Ishmael, Esau, Lot, and
Hagar.
