diminish from it.".  And in Proverbs 30:5-6 it seems that the intent at
protection is all inclusive: "Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto
them that put their trust in him.  Add thou not unto his words, lest he
reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.".
When there are recriminations and unchristian words and thoughts flying
both directions over the battle lines between Christian camps, and for that
matter within the twelve tribes of Israel themselves, drawn over which bible,
Satan must be extremely gleeful and satisfied.  Every war has it's Mata Hari
or Tokyo Rose, whose purpose was to distract the troops from their real
mission, that of winning the war.  In the spiritual war, I feel that the
'which bible' controversy is one of these.  When we are busy worrying over
which Bible that we and our neighbor read, we are not about our Father's
business of spreading the gospel.  Which bible?  As long as it is read in
context, with Holy Spirit guidance, the one that you are comfortable with is
right for you.  We also, should give our neighbors an equal opportunity to
make the same Spirit guided choice of Bible, and quit trying to be like the
Most High.  I am certain that the apostles were aware of the disinformation
attack by Satan in those days, and they were vigorous in warning about his
campaign.  Somehow we lost sight of the real meaning of those warnings, and
have fallen prey to the results of our blind spots.  In my past training I was
taught that any word, whether noun or personal pronoun, relating to God should
be started with an upper case letter, and some of the most sacred names, such
as JAH, were to be all upper case letters.  In all of the translations, that I
have been reading lately, it finally sank in that the personal pronouns are
not capitalized.  In Isaiah 14:12-14 it says, "How art thou fallen from
heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground,
which didst weaken the nations!  For thou hast said in thine heart, I will
ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit
also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will
ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most high.".  It

appears to me that Satan is so extremely subtle, that we can never begin to
relax our vigilance, or we are in trouble.  When I asked a pastor friend of
mine about the upper case difference, he stated that he also, was trained the
way I was, but was advised in Bible college that current writing standards
dictated lower case on the 'he, him, his' personal pronouns.  How long then
until the standards are relaxed again so that God is lower cased into equality
with Baal and all the others who are now referred to as gods in scripture.
How can words reflecting an unchanging God themselves change?  I think, only,
in one way.  That way is indicated in the passage from Isaiah quoted above.
Satan in his quest to be like the Most High, will do anything
to accomplish this.  If he can't attain the height to be equal with God, well
then why not reduce the reverence afforded Him, thereby bringing God down to
his level.  You say I am tilting at wind mills?  Why then isn't the personal
pronoun I treated equally as i?  Seems only fair to me.  I will show what, I
believe, is scriptural proof of the apostles concern about the subtle attacks
of Satan in the section on which church, to avoid redundancy.  More and more I
am seeing that 'which Bible?' and 'which church?' are inseparable, they must
be studied concurrently.
