| gently calling, unto man for him to come back into God's will. Satan is continually going to and fro as a ravening wolf, looking for who he might devour, and he is using fear as one of his major weapons. He is whispering to those who would hear God's invitation to salvation, "If you take the step that God is asking you to take, you are placing yourself in bondage and will never again be able to enjoy yourself. You won't be able to do as you please. ( Yea hath God said? )". Satan's lie will go with him all the way to the lake of fire, and so will you if you listen to him. Accepting God's invitation is not placing yourself into bondage, but removing yourself from it. No longer will you be hell bound ( with the final destination at the lake of fire ), no longer will you be considered guilty of the death of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. No longer will you be denied guidance from and fellowship with God. You will be able to worship the Almighty God! This is a very personal thing between you and God. Even if you have made a profession of faith in the past, even if you have been preaching or teaching the gospel, I pray that you right now examine the fruits from the tree of your life. These fruits should be of an inward nature as we see in Galatians 5:22-23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.", not of an outward nature pleasing self and man rather than God. I pray that if you are still in a dichotomous state, that by now you have recognized that state and want badly enough to correct it. God invites you to salvation, not man, however, if you are confused, and need further discussion, I pray that you will search out a man, who preaches the whole word of God, in context, without adding to, or taking away from God's intended message for you. If you need help finding such a man, go to God with a sincere searching heart as Jesus instructed us to do. At this point, if this is the case, your discussion should be with God, not man or this book. You need to get it settled. Revelation 3:20 says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.". 45 ____________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________ |
