A Letter from Science Camp
Hello Muddah, Hello Fuddah
Here I am at Walden West
Camp is very entertaining
And they say we'll have fun if it stops raining .
I went hiking with Matthew Foulke
He developed Poison Oak
You remember Keyanna Adger
She got chased and frightened by a badger.
(musical interlude)
All the counsellors hate the waiters
And the pond has alligators
And our teacher wants no sissies
So he makes us eat up all our Rice Krispies.
Now I don't want this to scare you,
but my bunkmate has malaria
You remember Jeffrey,who's so hardy
They're about to organize a searching party.
Take me home! Oh muddah, fuddah take me home!
I hate ol' Walden, don't leave me
out in the forest where I might get eaten by a bear
Take me home! I promise I will not make noise
or mess the house with other boys.
Please don't make me stay, I've been here
one WHOLE day!
Dearest Fuddah, Darling Muddah
How's my precious little bruddah
Let me come home if you miss me
I would even let Aunt Bertha hug and kiss me.

Wait a minute! It's stopped raining!
Kids are hiking, kids are playing
Playing fun games, Gee that's better
