Western USA - The Way Up
We've reached the pacific coast in California and begin to make our way back up to Canada.
We've reached Northern California and are pedaling through the Giant Redwoods.  These are pretty small ones.
It's just clearing up.  See the clouds moving away.  We've left the forrest and the fog and actually get to see some coast.
The Oregon coast.  Taking the time to enjoy the day and the view.
Just before bed, we observed a family biking on the beach in front of our tent and just had to take this picture.
The sign says it all.  We'll leave some of the coast to enjoy Mt Rainer.
Victoria, where we'll spend the winter earning the money for our next phase of the trip.
Below will be shots of our winter spent in Victoria and on Vancouver Island - particularily the Tofino area.
Cousin once removed, enjoying Susanna's sunglasses.
Tofino hot springs.  There was a group of about 15 people this day.  It has two main pools, this one and the one above.  Then on down to the ocean there are more minor pools.
Dad and Susanna ready to spot some whales.  We left the protection of the inside passage to see them, and the sea was a little rough.  I think Dad was a little green.
The Whale.
The famous West Coast Trail - Mom, Dad and I..
Lots of these bridges on the way along Vancouver Island.
