Welcome To America Valya
Ok, here we go again.  We returned to Ukraine in the beginning of November, 2001 to adopt yet again.  The experience of the actual adoption went pretty much the same as the first one, so I don't see the need to explain it again.

It was nice to see our friends and to eat at our favorite french restaurant again.  On this trip things did go a little smoother, only because we knew what to do this time, so we had more time to actually visit and sight see.  This, I feel, was a more relaxing and less stressful trip than the first.

We adopted a girl again, but this time only one.  She is an older child of seven years.  Her name is Valentina Alexis Moseley.  We returned to the states on November 25th, 2001, shucks, we missed Thanksgiving by one day.  Valya, her Ukrainian nickname which we still use, is very intelligent.  She is learning english very very fast.  We also are very lucky that the teacher asssigned to her twice a week to help her learn the english language is from Russia.  So, needless to say, Valya is retaining her native language, much to our happiness.  Her teacher says there is no doubt she will, and already is, going to be bilingual.  Valya enjoys reading, music, bike riding and gymnastics, and of course, absorbing as much of her new culture and language as she possibly can.  This includes correcting and teaching her parents Russian.  She loves being in America and loves her new family very much as well as we do her.
