Long Islanders Reach454 Sign With Lava Records Self-Titled Debut Album Set For June Release

April 3, 2003—New York, NY—Rock band Reach454 have inked a multi-album recording contract with Lava Records, home of Kid Rock, Uncle Kracker, Simple Plan, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Their self-titled debut album, produced and mixed by Jay Baumgardner (Papa Roach, Drowning Pool, Alien Ant Farm) at NRG Studios in North Hollywood, CA is set for a June 2003 release. The album features twelve trident rock tunes including the cutting first single "New Scar." Long-time friend Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach supplies guest vocals on the tumultuous "Come Apart."

The band, founded by former Sick Of It All bassist (turned guitarist) Richie Cipriano, came together in Long Island in 1996. The guys toiled on the New York City club circuit for nearly six years gigging with the likes of Cypress Hill, Adema, and System of A Down before catching the ears of Lava Records President Jason Flom. Mixing rock-hard guitars, a pulsing rhythm section and true-to-life lyrics, the guys deliver a layered masterpiece reminiscent of rock iconoclasts Bad Brains, Helmet, and The Cure.

Reach454 is Rene Mata on vocals, Richie Cipriano on guitar, Danny Martinez on bass, and John Kamoosi (formerly of dayinthelife and Primer 55) on drums. The guys are currently traversing North America on tour with buddies Papa Roach.

Track listing:

1. New Scar
2. Stay With me
3. Wake up
4. In Your Arms
5. California
6. 6 Years
7. Until The Day I Die
8. Am I Wrong
9. Follow You Down
10. Come Apart featuring Jacoby Shaddix
11. Last Time
12. The Enemy
