the real thrill started as we were entering the German Autobahns....in the beginning it didnt seem very difficult...but suddenly the road widened out to be a 8 lane highway with Porsches, BMWs, simply zooming through.....the minimum speed on these highways is 120Kmph and we drove somewhere between 150-170kmph...and we were no match to those porsches ripping at 220kmph....                     even a slightest mistake at that speed could have landed 9 ppl at the gates of Heaven (or Hell) at the blink of an eye.....kudos to Sunny.. our super driver I should say.... not a single incident happened in the whole trip....he was simply amazing....        taking exits at 150kmph...changing lanes in a instant is no easy task....and sunny somehow managed not to make any serious mistakes...and we passed through Hamburg, Bremen, Hannover and headed towards Essen where we had planned to stop by at one of our friend's place.....we reached there after abt 9 hrs and had clocked 800 kms from where we started....not at all bad for a gang that decided the trip in 3 days, with only one amateur driver doing all the hardwork....                      ...........so far so good :)

The actual plans was to go to EINDHOVEN, ROTTERDAM and finally to AMSTERDAM(AMS) before leaving for Sweden. But since those stayed back in Essen partied at the disc till the 4 in the morning (including me) and BOSE DK, rohit and sunny were in Aachen (another city abt 60km frm Essen) to see BOSE DK's friend, everyone got ready only by 2 the next afternoon and i guess we left Essen somewhere around 4 in the evening.                                                                    So we cancelled Eindhoven and Rotterdam and headed straight to Ams....and reached there around 7 or so....once in Ams we were looking for a parking place and the youth hostel we had booked for sunny so he could take good rest before he would start driving the next day....            we were lost in the city as many shops were closed and we cudnot get a city map......Finally we found one in a gas station (not a paper map but a map put up on a wall...thanx to my good memory and direction sense...i could navigate them to the youth hostel and found a parking slot as well in the same street... three cheers to MEEE....:)) )           after another half an hour we were ready to hit the road again .....and started with THOSE (i hope i need not mention it exclusively) famous streets in AMS...THOSE are the only ones open at that time in AMS :D.....

After roaming around in AMS and since it was getting cold we decided to take some warmth in a pub and hit one which was  named "pub 420" , and some of our friends did get into good spirit once inside the pub..;)
