Back Issue #4

December 13, 2002     V1N4
Greetings in Jesus' name. I'm sure most of you are busy getting ready for Christmas. Just remember the real Reason we're celebrating...Jesus!

I'd like to take the time now to thank everybody who has sent items for R4A, even if I haven't taken time to drop a personal note. Also, I need a Christmas story and/or poem for the next issue, if you can e-mail me one by Christmas Eve I would greatly appreciate it!

Following is one of my favorite verses in the Bible:

John 3:16

So Loved..............................The Greatest Degree

The World.............................The Greatest Company

That He Gave.........................The Greatest Act

His Only Begotten Son............The Greatest Gift

That Whosoever.......................The Greatest Opportunity

Believeth.................................The Greatest Simplicity

In Him......................................The Greatest Attraction

Should Not Perish.....................The Greatest Promise

But............................................The Greatest Difference

Have..........................................The Greatest Certainty

            Moment By Moment
Never a trial that He is not there,
Never a burden that He doth not bear.
Never a sorrow that He doth not share,
Moment by moment I'm under His care:
Moment by moment I'm kept in His love,
Moment by moment I've life from above,
Looking to Jesus 'till glory doth shine,
Moment by moment, O Lord, I am thine.

Prayer & Praise
I would like to thank God for healing my sister's neck and I also want to thank those of you that prayed. Most of you know she cracked it several weeks ago. The healing has gone very well--she is back to most of her regular activities.

And I also want to remind you to pray for the Hollingshead family, as they lost their son (and brother) Brandon just before Thanksgiving. And if you want to send them a card, their address is: 9682 Spring Valley Road, Marysville, CA 95901.

Selected Sayings
1. If you can't see the bright side, polish the dull side.

2. Every job is a self portrait--autograph your work with excellence.

3. You will never find Jesus so precious as when the world is one vast howling wilderness. Then He is like a rose blooming in the midst of desolation, a rock rising above the stars.  -Robert Murray McCheyne

Smiley
A man said to God, "What's a million years to You?"

And God said, "One second."

Then the man said to God, "What's a million dollars, too?"

And God said, "One penny."

Then the man said to God, "I would like to have a penny."

God said, "Okay, you'll just have to wait a second."

And so wraps up this issue of R4A! God bless and have a great Christmas!
