| I use to try to do everything all by myself. But Self always failed me. I tried to muster up all the strength I had to go through just one day, but I failed anyway. Life was dreary to me. All it was to me was hurts, pains, and frusterations. Life didn't feel worth living, why not kill myself? Two and a half months ago, I made a friend. His name is Jesus. It was by going to Youth Bible School (2002) I found out what a friend Jesus is. I was mierable and hated my life. While I was at Bible School some eople shared with me what a friend Jesus is. This Friend that I heard about was too good to be true! At first, I was like "no way." I had tried everything to give me a happy life. But I never had one, only unhappiness. But by the sparkle in their eyes they told me, He is truly a friend. And in those 2½ months of being born again, I can say: What a Friend Jesus really is! My heart goes out to the ones that look frusterated and unhappy. For I also know how it felt like before. The love of Jesus comes into my heart, to tell them what a Friend Jesus is. So when we're out and about, well, even at home, let's open our mouths and share with them what a Friend Jesus is! For it helped me soooo much to hear about this Friend. I've never been the same, with my new friend. So share what a Friend Jesus is! |
