| ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY PROGRAM |
| AWARD OF EXCELLENCE |
| PARQ has participated in the Tennessee Adopt-a-Highway program since 1994. Currently the group collects trash along the John Bragg Highway four times a year. Volunteers are welcome! |
| PARQ received a 2001 Award of Excellence from TDOT and Keep America Beautiful. The $1000 prize was used for a litter-abatement program. |
| CEMETERY SITES |
| PARQ supports efforts to preserve the Readyville Mill. This mill is the last mill on the Stones River. |
| People are interested in their family history. PARQ has prepared a list of the county's cemeteries. It is part of the Cannon County map and the locations are marked. |
| AUTUMN COUNTRY FAIR |
| This county wide annual event is held in Woodbury. Local crafts people, music, food, and children's activities are highlighted. PARQ helps sponsor the fair. |
| Meetings are held quarterly at West Side School in Readyville. All are welcome! |
