Poetry of the DarkChild
You take away my breath...
leaving me dry as the wine
tinkling from the vintage vines...
I linger to feel you...
hear your voice sing...
awakening the dreary walls
of colorless form with it's sweet tones...

Last night...
we loved so passionately...
as if the daylight
we would not see...
and I knew that if
life would end
I would not grieve
as your love cradles me...

My thoughts no longer form...
my heart has exhausted it's tempo...
I lust for your touch...
to feel the night once more...
beckoning the hours to past by...
the sun to dim it's glow...
I die again and again from
this desperate love...

I wait in this lonely house...
holding on to my memories
till there is nothing more to give...
I harvest to release the love you bring...
For...
I would not care to be
if only to bear your
kisses upon my lips...
