Targeteer

Targeteers are masters with bows and crossbows. Most targeteers are professionals who compete in archery tournaments, but they are also adventurers, assassins, and mercenaries. Whatever their professional title, targeteers represent an individual with the highest focus and dedication to archery.

Requirements:

Alignment: Lawful

Feats: Weapon Focus (any bow or crossbow), Point Blank shot, Precise Shot

Skills: Concentration (3)

Class Skills:

Balance, Bluff, Concentration, Diplomacy, Forgery, Intimidate, Knowledge Law, Perform, Search, Sense Motive, Spot, Use Magic Device.

Weapon and Armor Proficiencies: light armor, all simple weapons, and martial ranged weapons.

Special Abilities:

Sniper: At first level a targeteer is able to concentrate and get an advantage on his target. He receives +1 base Attack and +1 damage within 30 feet. The targeteer gets another +1 for every two levels above 1st (3rd +2, 5th +3, 7th +4).

Damage Range: At 2nd Level a targeteer is able to add damage to shots fired within +10 ft for very two levels. Any sneak attacks are also possible within the same range.

Combat Shooting: Similar to combat casting, A targeteer is able to use his bow while in melee and avoid attacks of opportunity. When combat shooting a targeteer must make a concentration check of 15 or is unable to fire his bow for that melee or take any other combat equivalent action.

Sneak Attack: Similar to thieves, targeteer can make sneak attacks.

Multiple Arrow Shot: At 5th level at targeteer can shoot multiple arrows in a single attack. The arrows may strike one target or multiple targets. At the cost of accuracy, up to 5 additional arrows may be shot. The targeteer must make a separate attack role for each arrow at a –2 for each additional arrow. Therefore, a targeteer shooting 5 arrows would receive a –8 penalty to their attack role.

Death Shot: At 10th level a targeteer may fire a death shot. Firing a death shot is a full round attack and cannot be fired in melee. When hit with a death arrow, a creature must make a Fortitude (DC 15) or be slain. The effect is similar to that of massive damage. Slaying large creatures is more difficult. Starting at 10th level, a targeteer can slay medium size creatures. Every 2 levels above 10th a targeteer can slay a creature of one larger size class. (12th large, 14th Huge, 16th gargantuan, 18th colossal)
