Fairy Tale

Last night I kissed sleeping beauty to try to break the spell

I wish that I were able to kiss her tonight as well

But still she sleeps, for she’s not sure if she’s ready to wake

For I may be her shining prince, indeed, or just a fake

Last night I kissed Cinderella, while fleeing from the ball

I wish that I could make her mine, into my arms to fall

But left with her glass slipper, confusion fills the scene

As neither us seem sure enough of what this all could mean

Last night I kissed Snow White and the birds all sang aloud

And the dark shadows were cast aside as the floating of a cloud

When intertwined within her arms I know just what I face

I crave to feel her lips on mine, and the warmth of her embrace

But I am no Prince Charming, I ride on no white steed

Prince and Princess be strewn aside, I know just what I need

I long to hold my angel close in this moment of bliss

And tell her of just how I feel, within a single kiss
