As I look beyond the light, into the darkest night

I often forget just where I am going

Beyond the flowered field, my fate seems to be sealed

Another thing that seems afraid of showing

The girl who I adored isn't with me anymore

She's moved along and found a different road

Inside my angry heart, the pain will surely start

For the sudden change of what her feelings showed

Stare into the cold sun, until your dreams have come

To be everything that you had so desired

Another time to pass, so roll into the grass

Till happiness, it has you so inspired

The earth whirls round and round, keeping us all off the ground

We wonder if we'll fall into the sun

Upon the darkest road, my gentle tears have flowed

They may until my existence is done

You think life's all a joke, so you sit around and smoke

And poison yourself away until there's none

You think your life's the best, but you've got others depressed

After all you seem to be the perfect one

What are these words all made to say, why do you still run away

From everything that you have ever feared

Forever it will be, inside the eyes of me

That you have proven yourself;
