I had a friend once tell me

That Love is hard to keep

That Love could break apart on you

While you are sound asleep

Another friend once told me

That Love is hard to work

That every person she'd been with

Turned out to be a jerk

A wise man once told all of us

All about Love's downfall

"Tis better to have Loved and lost

Than never loved at all"
