Bienvenidos!

I am a Spanish Instructor at Bloomsburg University.  I will be teaching four Spanish courses during the Fall 2007 semester.  I enjoy teaching Spanish and encouraging students to continue studying the language and learning about Spanish culture.

I recently graduated from the University of New Mexico (May 2007) with my Masters degree in Spanish, concentrated in Hispanic Literature.  I am also a 2005 graduate of Bloomsburg University, where I earned degrees in both Spanish and Secondary Education.

I love traveling and I spent 5 months of my junior year (Spring 2004) studying at la Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain. Additionally, I completed an internship in Puerto Rico during the summer of 2002 where I worked at an orphanage in the town of Adujntas. More recently, I spent the month of July 2006 studying Maya art and architecture in Copan Ruinas, Honduras.  I like to encourage all students to take advantage of study abroad opportunities.
