i hope this world is not truly as it appears
its exactly as i feared
the bodies of the dead at my feet
their corpses are covering every street
asa i look around, i notice not everyone's been slain
some are still writhing and contorting in bitter pain
desicisions made in the past...
made too fast
they will determine the future's course
those eyes... they show no remorse
i will spend my days in rot
for, all i have has come to naught
their malicious intents permeate the very atmosphere
the time of the demise is drawing near
i await my oblivion with a smile
my blood staining the earth all the while
DOWN by..... guru BLACK
two down, and one to go.
one more step till I'm
close enough to feel her
presence. right or wrong,
one more step till no
turning
back. am i strong enough to
expose my true self, to be
ridiculed, to take one more step.
Spring Morning By: Aaron
the glazed eyes reflect the sun like mirrored glass
the blood of the dead mixing with the dew, and dripping off the grass
everything becomes hazy and vague
is this the world's new plague?
i can only hope men will remember this atrocity
which occured with unmatched velocity
so much for human philosophy
it all vanishes quickly, replaced by an animal's ferocity
i can see my last breaths, as the air turns them to mist
my name is now on heaven's list
Resume by Dorothy Parker
Razors pain you;
Rivers are damp;
Acids stain you;
And drugs cause crap.
Guns aren't lawful;
Nooses give;
Gas smells awful;
You might as well live.
Godspeed by Dorothy Parker
Oh seek, my love, your newer way;
I'll not be left in sorrow.
So long as I have yesterday
Go take your damned tomorrow!
