Rain
Two separate things,
Both at once,
This rainstorm and my life.
So I'm walking through the rainstorm,
There's a break in the storm,
And then a clap of thunder,
A new downpour ensues.
I'm making my way through life,
Things are finally looking up,
But then something comes and spoils it,
And my life spirals out of control.
And I'm scared; yes I'm scared,
I'm tired and under prepared,
As I wait for it to end.
