The Red Star
**THE RED STAR SAGA**
The legend of the Red Star( as we heard it...) began in the early 1800's with lonely sailors visiting the famed and favored port of Fell's Point. After many months at sea, these men were eager for land and female companionship. An old blue law prohibited the display of the customary red light. To help the sailors find their way, the ladies painted nautical red stars on the sidewalks. It's our personal theory that 3 stars were painted to ensure that the sailors would not miss their chance!

One of Fell's Point's most popular bars and restaurants, the Red Star is known as
A quaint place that pleases the regulars. The food is a mixture of southwestern, seafood, pastas, Boboli pizzas, sandwiches and interesting daily lunch and dinner specials. The lunch specials change daily and the dinner specials are changed on a weekly basis. The Bar features a daily happy hour from 11: 30 a.m. til 7:00 p.m. with special happy hour drink prices. The house special drink is a Golden Margarita made with Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila, Triple Sec and Grand Marnier.
