Bazi Tea
This drink is not described in detail in the books, some say it's a herbal tea others say it is similar to an orange pekoe. There is great tradition in the serving of Bazi Tea. Each of the tiny cups represents one of the moons of Gor. The first cup is the past, the second cup is the present and the third is the future.
~ first- Go to the servery and select a bota of spring water, then take it to the hearth and fill the copper kettle. Place the kettle on the fire to boil. Return to the servery taking the bota with you and put it away.

~ second - In the servery you will find a porcelain teapot with three delicate cups. The cups are tiny and very pretty. Clean the pot and the cups, be sure to check the rim of each one.
~third - Take the teapot to the hearth and fill it. Remember it's a porcelain pot, warm it with a bit of water first so that you don't crack the pot. Dump the water back in the kettle and then fill it with boiling water.
~fourth - Quickly take the teapot back to the servery and place on a tray with all three of the tiny cups. In a black lacquer chest there will be the Gorean tea, from Bazi. Place 2 ounces of tea in the pot.
~fifth - Using a silver spoon place a good portion of white sugar in the first cup, then another good portion of yellow sugar in the second cup, and in the third cup mix yellow and white sugars.
~sixth - Return to the Master/Mistress with the tray. Fill each cup and offer them up quickly, each cup is to be served quickly.

Black Wine
Coffee Beans brought to Gor from Earth are grown in the slopes of the Thentis Mountains. The beans grown on Gor are smaller and much stronger then the Earth beans. Black Wine is coffee, but, much much stronger than the original.

~serve - Black Wine is served either first or second slave. The phrases originated from the ancient tradition of having the sugar and milk placed in the cup by one slave, after which the beverage was poured into the cup by a second slave. The slave serving the cream and sugar is first (first slave), the one that serves the black wine is the second (second slave).  A Master will wish a mug and a Mistress will use a cup.
~first slave - (cream and sugar) In the servery prepare a small bowl of bosk (powdered) and or verr cream, a bowl of sugar (yellow and white). Place them on a tray with the vessel and take to the fire and fill from the kettle. Then return to the Master you serve and add the cream and sugar as They desire.
~second slave - (black) Fill from the kettle at the fire and serve at the Masters feet only.
~tanned - serve with cream only

Take a kettle or small pan to the hearth and warm the milk, gently adding the chocolate. Pour the chocolate in the cup and place the clotted cream on top and take to the Masters feet and serve.
