| This is Tasmania, Australia. Hobart is our capital city. I live in a city in the north of the state called Launceston. Tasmania is the only island state and is seperated from mainland Australia by a 240km stretch of water called Bass Strait. Our population is under 500 000. |

| Our Island is full of spectacular views and amazing wilderness. Tourism includes trout fishing in our many lakes, bushwalking, historic sites and not forgetting to mention fine wine and food. Tasmanians are lucky to have clean air, fabulous beaches, National Parks, unusual wildlife and fauna and our heritage. We are blessed with a truly relaxed lifestyle. |
