Q: How can I get to Red Bank Regional High School (the starting point)?

A: You can either get directions by phone (732)842-8000 X433, or take the following route:

  1. Garden State Parkway to exit 109
  2. Take Route 520 East to Route 35
  3. Route 520 "Dead-ends" at Route 35, (make a left)
  4. Cross railroad tracks & keep to the right onto Broad street
  5. Harding Road is at the second traffic light, (make a right)
  6. Continue on Harding Road (appox. 1 mile)
  7. Harding Road turns into Ridge Road-- School is on the right, 101 Ridge Road.

Q: I can't walk that far. Can I still participate?

A: A short walk follows the crowd to the first water stop at East Side Park on Harrisson Avenue (about 1 kilometer).From here, you can choose to walk back to the school or you can get a ride. Also, you can volunteer to work at a water stop along the way, help at a registration table, help clean up the CROP WALK starting/ending point at the end of the walk, or help out in education booths along the walk.

Q: I can't make it the day of the walk. How can I help out?

A: If you can't make it, sponsor another walker. If you don't know anyone who will be walking, you can sponsor Ziggy. Donations can be sent in for Ziggy at the following address: P.O. Box 8022 Red Bank, NJ 07701. Please don't send cash in the mail; checks should be made out to "CWS-CROP." Also, you can help deliver the donated food to local food drives.

Q: What should I bring to the walk?

A: Bring your sponsor form and money, comfortable shoes, an item from the staples trio, and a smile! If you don't have all the money, bring only the top sheet of your sponsor form to the walk.

Q: What do I do with pledges after the walk?

A: After the walk, turn in uncollected pledges to your recruiter with all used and unused sponsor sheets.
