When the RBS Lady Bulldogs take the field this year, they will be doing it in style! When the softball team began in 1994, all games were played at the Downtown Baseball Complex. Beginning in 2000, though, the Lady Dogs call Hilltop Park home. The newest facility in the Bulldog program has already hosted the 2000 TSSAA Region 4A Finals, 2001 TSSAA District 7A Tournament, and TSSAA 2001 Region 4A opening round. Hilltop Park has given the ladies a definate home field advantage, as the Lady Dogs have an 16-2 All-time record there. A new fieldhouse that houses a concession stand, locker rooms, and a weight training facility was completed last summer, and the nicest softball facility in the region will again grow with the completion of new grandstands and press facilities very soon. |
