Belinda has one daughter, Amelia Skye, born on March 4, 1995. Her older brother Don is also in the Entertainment Business. She began her careet first as a dancer. She did back up dancing for Ginger Rogers and Ben Vareen at the Palace Variety Television Show. She was filmed in the Elvis Stojiko story.
Her first acting job was in Charlie Grants War. Her most famous role to date is as Detective Jody Powell in Kung Fu: The Legend Continues. When asked how she chose to have an acting career, Belinda replied, "The career chose me!"
Belinda lost a major CBS drama set for fall to Adrienne Barbeau who got the role she wanted for the movie. However, she will be in an Edmonton tv series called Mentors. She plays the mother of a young boy who is a genius.
