Jaden's Horrible night (Cont...) By Nicole |
||||||
“I heard noises and Ben is gone,” I replied so fast my words sounded like jelly. Just as I had said that, Ben walked in, holding a pizza. “Where have you been?” I yelled at him. “I went to get the pizza we ordered an hour ago. I would’ve been back, but the guy got the order wrong and I had to wait,” he said, trying real hard not to laugh because he saw how frightened I was. “It isn’t funny, Ben. I got real scared,” I said in tears. “Sorry, baby, I wasn’t trying to be mean,” he said, giving me a hug. I looked at Ben, I looked at my parents, and said, “Please don’t ever leave me alone ever again, especially on a rainy, stormy night.” I was about to cry. My friends came up to me the next day at school and said to me, “Jaden, Ben told us the whole thing. We thought you were not scared of anything.” “I guess I was wrong,” I said, shrugging my shoulders. To this day, I still eat my words on how I said I wasn’t scared of anything. I guess it goes to show you what goes around comes around in the end. |
