2000 Preview The Colgate womens soccer team has faced a constant series of challenges, and on most of those occasions, rose to the occasion, in the past 7 years, they have only suffered 3 league losses. But the league is changing. Colgate was selected as the preseason favorite again, but three teams shared the first place votes. Navy will continue to serve as the toughest competition, with Army being the other team to rack in the first place votes. Colgate will also be losing several key players. The number 1 slot to fill is going to be the goalie position. 4 year standout, Kelly Tyrrell will no longer be the netminder for Colgate. Last season, she was the best goalie in the league. Jenny Molina is the likely replacement, she saw some playing time last year, and should be able to perform better than average for the league. Also gone, is Andrea Licari, this offensive player of the year was a real playmaker who often scored or set up the crucial goal. Sarah Lohr was a 4 year starter, who is leaving the defense with a hole to fill. Remaining is one of the most complete and competitive teams in the east. Returning on defense is Sarah Mirza, who played very tough last season and kept the opponents offense on guard. Lauren Kaufman impressed many people as a freshman last year on defense, she will continue to assist the team at back and midfield. Katie Chamberlain and Yvonne Gyimah will round out the defense, adding experience, speed and skill to the roster. The midfield is in as good as shape as ever. Kellie Gale is returning with her scoring touch. Sena Maziarz is one of the most technical and the most underrated players in the league, shes returning for her senior season. Liz Brown, the lacrosse standout, will also be playing the midfield position. She adds an incredible amount of speed to the program. Finally, two excellent juniors, Mandy Palladino and Meghan Merriman, will be making sure the midfield is tops in the league. Both of these Red Raiders have been starting since freshman year and continue to improve and impress. The forward position is losing a lot, but should be able to reload for this season. Last year, Colgate only used two forwards. This gave Colgate a few chances to score, and gave even more strenght to the midfield. 4 of the teams league wins were only by one goal. Colgate didn't have the quick offensive attack, or as much sustained offensive pressure as some teams, but the scored all the goals they needed to score en route to the league title and a 3rd straight NCAA appearance. Angela Puliofico will be the teams premeire forward this season. Her freshman season showed an incredible amount of promise, and she showed she can be far and away the best forward in the league with a little bit of work. Her sophomore year was not as productive, but she still has all the skills of a great player and should rise to the occasion. Colgate also has several players who will be ready to step up to fill the remaining spot. Amoung them are Heather Murphy, the ice hockey All American, and Lauren Esposito, a starter on the womens Lax team. The mid fielders have traditionally been the ones to keep the pressure on the opposition, while giving the offense the few chances they need to win the game. With a new starting goalie, Colgate may need an extra goal or two per game to remain on top. Several freshman will be joining the team and might make an immediate impact. Kattie Griffen, a defenseman from Long Island, was voted all-state in HS and a member of a Class A championship team. Meade McCarthy, a defenseman from Minnesota, was voted all state three seasons in a row and should help add depth to the backfield. Kate Barrett of Troy NY, will be competing for a spot as a midfielder, she adds a scoring touch, and was also a very successful player in HS. Courtney Hostetler is another player to watch for at midfield. Caitlin O'Donnell and Sarah Scholl are our freshman forwards. In addition to being picked as a preseason favorite, Soccerbuzz.com has ranked us 9th in the North east region in thier preseason poll. This will be a very challenging season for Colgate, not only has the Patriot League gotten better, but Colgate has taken on a very tough non conference schedule. The Red Raiders didn't look as sharp as they could have near the end of last year. If they get some momentum back in their favor, they have the skills it takes to win the league again and move on to the NCAA's for a 4th season in a row.
August 27th - At Vermont Colgate opened at the school it beat last year in OT. Since Vermont kept most of their team from last season, this was also a good game to use as a yardstick for this seasons success. Colgate's new goalie, Jenny Molina only made 5 saves, which is ok considering she only had to face 5 shots! Her first start, her first shutout, she made one amazing save on a breakaway. Colgate's defense kept the Red Raider's out of trouble. The midfield kept the pressure on Vermont, and the action on thier side of the field most of the game. As far as the scoring, Angela Puliofico made a takeaway near the opponents goal and directed a nice shot in. The rookie, Kate Barrett rifled in a perfect shot to the top corner from the top of the penalty box. And the midfield combined efforts on goal number 3. Not a whole lot to feel bad about in the opener, 3-0 Colgate.
September 1st - Vs Colorado College @ University of New Mexico Tournament. Game Preview Last season was the first meeting for these teams, the result, a 4-4 tie. Colgate is returning all 4 of it's goal scorers from that game. CC has lost 3 starters, including one of them who scored 2 of their goals in that game. Pre Game CC is currently 3-0 on the season and has allowed very few goals. By virtue of beating Vermont, Colgate has moved up to number 8 in the regional rankings. Results This was a tough loss to take. CC scores very early off a surprise header. The Red Raider's fought hard to hold them off all game. The game was evenly matched. Colgate had the chance to tie and win, two shots beat the goalie, but hit the crossbar. Colgate was outshot and out corner kicked, but the Red Raider's held on and played very well despite an eventual 1-0 loss.
September 3rd - Vs New Mexico @ University of New Mexico Tournament Game Preview The Lobos are returning a very strong team and are ready to start moving up the ladder in the NCAA. Last season they were 6-13-1, but are returning 9 starters. This will be the first meeting of these two teams. Pre Game These guys are on a roll. They are keeping good offensive pressure, but not shooting all that much. They have done a good job at holding down the opponents scores. This could be a very good game. Results Three games, two shutouts in our favor. Colgate looked like they were in trouble all during the first half, but thats all the more reason to give them credit for hanging on, making adjustments, then switching to thier style of play in the second half and getting the win. The Lobo's outshot Colgate and really made things tought for the Red Raider's on defense. Colgate would score twice, once off the expereinced cleat of Sena Maziarz. And the other one saw an excellent pass from Senior Kelly Gale, connect with Sophomore Lauren Erickson, and then a powerful shot that beat the goal. Once again, good balance and a solid game plan win out. Jenny Molina stopped all 15 shots that came her way to earn the Red Raider's a 2-0 shutout.
September 8th - Vs Brown 7 pm @ ECAC Tournament Game Preview The Bears are returning all but 2 starters. Colgate holds a 2-0 series lead here, and Brown went 3-12-2 last season and finished last in the Ivy league. Pre Game The Bears are proving to be a little bit dangerous this year! In thier first game of the season, they met Army, who was selected to be third in the Patriot Leauge. Brown outshot the Cadets, and was stiffling on defense to win 3-0. Results Colgate played with them all game. They outshot Brown, they held Brown off most of the game. In the end, all that was lacking was someone to chip the ball home. They played well, but lost by a score of 2-0.
September 10th - Vs Boston College 12 pm @ ECAC Tournament Game Preview The BC Eagles finished last season with a 16-7-1 record and 22nd in the nation, 4th in the region. Preseason polls by Soccerbuzz.com ranks them at 20th in the nation and 3rd in the northeast. BC also advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament. They return 9 of thier starters, including some good offensive players and their goalie. Pre Game BC is on a roll, and you gotta be a little nervous after they downed Holy Cross 9-0 about a week ago. They also hold wins over Fairfield and BU. Results The cream rises to the top, at least that was this case on this sunday. Colgate fell behind 2-0 before making a comeback in the second half. It was Colgate's expereinced players who came through with the big goals tonight. Angela Puliofico was the one to score the game winner in overtime. Molina made 14 big saves in net as the team came together to defeat a nationally ranked team 4-3 in OT.
September 16th - Holy Cross Game Preview HC has returned all of thier starters. They finished 4th in the leagaue last year, and has been selected to finish 4th again. Colgate won the game last year 3-0. Pre Game HC is 1-4 right now and 0-1 in the league after losing to Army 2-1. They have scored 4 goals this year so far compared to Colgate's 9. They have also allowed 15, compared to the Red Raider's 6. Holy Cross giving up nine in thier game against Boston College shortly before Colgate defeated them. Results Colgate has once again proven to be a team of great depth. Once again, the scoring came from a mix of team vets and some less herelded players. Sena Maziarz put in a pair. Yvonne Gyimah scored her first of the season, and Lauren Erickson strikes again! She lofted one over the goalies head for her third of the season. Keep in mind she only had three all of last season. This sophomore has a good career ahead of her. Molina recorded shutout number 3, give plenty of credit to the midfield and defense too. The final score from Van Doren Field, Colgate wins 4-0
September 22nd - Bucknell 7 pm Game Preview Bucknell is returning all but 1 player, a all league foward, from last years .500 team. They have only beaten Colgate once in 11 tries, with Colgate winning an overtime game last season. Bucknell has claimed that this will be the year that they stop rebuilding, and start making the league tournament. They were picked to tie for 4th in the preseason poll along with Holy Cross. Pre Game The Bison are on a 5 game winning streak, including 2 league wins over Lehigh, and a surprise win over Navy. 3 of the 5 wins have been by shutout. Results It was a great night to be at Van Doren Field and a Red Raider fan. Colgate would score 6 goals, each by a different person. Colgate had some close calls on defense, but for the most part we were doing a good job keeping the ball at thier end. The Red Raiders pulled most of thier starters with about 20 minutes left in the game and the score 4-0. The second and third string scored twice, but let in 1. It was a dominating win, and shows that Colgate has taken it's game up another notch.
September 24th - Fresno State 12 pm Game Preview Fresno State is coming off a season where they won the Western Athletic Conference championship. They are returning 8 starters, including their entire front line. Pre Game The Bulldogs are 6-3 after getting a 1 goal victory over Cornell this weekend. They could be a bit dangerous on offense, and we will need to find a way to get through thier mid field. If Colgate can keep thier scoring touch, things will go our way. Results Colgate did not keep thier scoring touch, and it took them until Fresno was up 1-0 that they really began to try. Colgate threatened during the end of the first half, but could not beat the goalie. The second half saw Fresno pull ahead even more, upping the score several times. The Red Raider's were just sitting back and letting Fresno control the tempo too much. They were able to beat us to just about every play. It was a dissapointing game, but hopefully Colgate will get back into it quickly, the score was 4-0.
September 27th - Cornell 7 pm Game Preview Last season's Big Red had a overall winning record, but came in 6th in the Ivy League. We are ranked higher than them, but they returned all of thier starters. Pre Game Cornell is 1-5 going into this game with two losses coming to the common opponents of Colorado College and Fresno State, both games were 1-0. Of the 6 games, they scored 1 goal once, two goals once and the other 4 games they got shut out. Results This was a very interesting game. Cornell relied on a trap defense, which led to a lot of offsides calls, but also a lot of great chances for the Red Raider's. Colgate was unable to score at first, and Cornell was able to take a 1-0 lead after a quick goal near the middle of the first half. Colgate would catch up with them, scoring the next two goals in the second half, to take the lead. Cornell was again evened the score ona good individual play and the game wore on with Colgate getting more offensive pressure, but no more goals. Just when it looked like things were going to overtime, Heather Murphy slid across the front of the goal to take a pass from Kate Barrett and just got the ball over the line with about half a minute left. Colgate wins a very interesting game 3-2.
September 30th - At Lehigh 1 pm Game Preview Lehigh has yet to beat Colgate. Last season the Mountain Hawks took 6th in the league. Colgate had some trouble with them last year, only winning 1-0 at home. 7 Starters are returning. The preseson league poll placed them in last, but the hope thier freshman class will get them a few wins. Pre Game Lehigh is 4-5 right now, with a 1-1 PL record having lost to Bucknell 1-0, but beating Army 3-0. So far they have done a good job sharing the ball on offense, with no big stars who are always scoring, they have also been excellent on D, allowing just about 1 goal a game. This means Colgate is going to have to avoid letting Lehigh pressure us for two long, and we're going to ned to have our stars step up to get us some goals. Results The Red Raiders put together a solid game to shutout the Mouintain Hawks. Colgate scored once from the field, and once off a corner kick. Lehigh outshot Colgate, but could not put one past Molina. The 2-0 win puts Colgate in sole possession of first place in the league.
October 4th - At Connecticut 4:30 pm Game Preview and Pre Game We're looking at a NCAA quarterfinal team from last year and a team that was ranked in the top ten nationally this year. They have been struggling this year and come into the game at 5-3-1 and are ranked 19th in the nation and 2nd in the Northeast. Struggling or not, this will be a tough game for Colgate. If they can rise to the occasion, we might finally move up from the number 9 spot in the region Results Well, it didn't quite happen that way. UConn scored about once every 15 minutes, Colgate took one shot, that wasn't on net. UConn out corner kicked us 7-0 but we out fouled them 9-0. 3 of the UConn goals were unassisted after we made mistakes in front of our net, the final one off a corner kick. Not much you could do about this one. 4-0 Huskies
October 8th - Miami 12 pm Game Preview and Pre Game Colgate does have a chance at redemtion before returning to league play. Miami also has some experience against ranked opponents, having played Portland, Florida, BC and UConn. The good news is, they lost to them all, and we generally fared better against them. Miami is still a tough team, they have a ranked freshman class. Colgate can use this game to improve against a moderatly tough opponent. Results Colgate played hard all game, and it paid off. The Red Raiders had an early lead, which they defended in back and forth action, before the Hurricanes evened things up on a soft goal just out of our keepers reach. It was a freshman, Meade McCarthy who scored the game winner as the first overtime period winding down. Colgate showed an awful lot though, when the teams are evenly matched, it's rare than an individual makes a great play. But Angela Puliofico, Mandy Palladino, Sena Maziarz and others had great standout plays, as well as working great together. Lauren Kaufman and Caitlin Kummer were great on defense, and this was one of Liz Browns best soccer games at Colgate. I know I'm forgetting people, and it was a great team effort, and was a very good technical game that very easily could have gone either way. Colgate ended up winning 2-1, in overtime. Of course, some of the Miami players might have been a bit excited and distracted, this being the first time many of thier players have seen snow of course..
October 14th - At Navy 1 pm Game Preview This is the big battle of the year. Last year, Sena scored Colgate's lone goal to defeat Navy in the regular season. We met again in the league finals, and beat them 2-0 in a great game. Navy has been our toughest league competition and this year, that trend will continue. They have lost three starters, but retained the leageus offensive player of the year and finished just votes behind us in the leagues preseason poll. Pre Game Navy has been unlucky this year and is currently 1-2 in the league. They should still be considered one of teh top teams though. Bucknell and Holy Cross have both squeked past them, while Lafayette took the loss. Navy has only one game this season that was not decided by a single goal. They are tough to score on, and they don't score a lot, but they are one of the hardest teams to beat, and they usually get a pretty good crowd at thier games. This very well could be a preview of a Patriot League tournament game, but a Navy loss will put that in jeopardy. Results Navy was able to dominate in the first half, and that was all they needed. They came into this game a lot more motivated an put forth a total team effort. By the time the first half was over, the score was 2-0 Navy. They Red Raiders did crack down in the second half, shutting down Navy and not letting them take any shots, it was not enough though. Maziarz scored on a odd play when everyone thought the ball went out of bounds, except for her and the ref, and thats enough to count it as a goal. Navy picks up the win to keep thier playoff hopes alive. Colgate can still be the first seed if they win the rest of thier league games.
October 20th - Marist 4 pm Game Preview This will be the first meeting for these two teams. Marist finished 3rd in the MAAC last year, has lost 1 starter from last years team, and has a new head coach. Last season they went 0-2-1 against Patriot League teams. With all these factors, Colgate should win the first game of the series. Pre Game Marist is on a 4 game winning streak right now, outscoring opponents 7-2 over the strech. They are 1-2 against Patriot League teams, losing to Lehigh and Army, but beating Holy Cross, all the games were pretty one sided. Meghan Merriman is out due to injury, Colgate's midfield will need to fill this gap and keep the pressure on Marist to pull out the victory. Results Not only did Marist lose, but they are very lucky the score wasn't double what it was. 4 different Colgate players scored, and 4 different players made assists on those goals. Two different Colgate goalies combned for the shutout. Marist found themselves pelted with 45 shots! If I had to name an MVP for the game it would have to be Mandy Palladino, she improves each and every game and is a true leader on the field. The game ended with a 4-0 Colgate win. October 22nd - At Columbia 12 pm Game Preview Columbia University got a win over Colgate last year to even up the overall series. They have since lost 7 of thier starters. The team lost its top goalie, but retained thier top scorer. They also are very enthusiastic about this years freshman. They have been on a roll the past few years, and if they can get a winning record this season, they could be an emerging dynasty. Pre Game Looking at the common opponents, you can't tell all that much. They lost 1-2 to Cornell, 0-4 to Brown and beat Army 2-1. Colgate has a slight edge, but not even to call us the definite favorite. Columbia has been a low scoring team, scoring two goals or less in all but 1 game. This game will come down to the end. Results This turned into a high scoring affair with 5 saves made between the two goalies. Colgate worked it's way up to a 2-0 lead, but then saw it slip away. It was good to see Liz Brown in the lineup, after a nasty fall she took in the Marist game. She scored the goal that put Colgate up 3-2, but then Columbia struck twice in the final ten minutes to take the game by a final score of 4-3. October 24th - Syracuse 7 pm Game Preview This is it, the big non league rivalry. The Red Raiders have only beaten them once in 5 tries. Syracuse also eliminated the Red Raiders from the NCAA tournament in 1998. They return 7 starters for this years game. The preseason poll ranks them 6th in the northeast. Pre Game Syracuse has been making its way through the season, and faces Colgate in thier final game before the playoffs. They beat Cornell in overtime, beat Miami 3-0, lost to UConn in ot, and lost 2-0 to Boston College. In the most rankings, they are at number 8 in the region, while Colgate has fallen out of the rankings. This game will take a total team effort for the entire team, but it can be won . , this was a hard fought game from start to Results As always, this was one of the most excting games of the season. Once again, the differnce was just a single goal. Colgate pressured Syracuse all game long, getting more shots, more shots on net, more corner kicks, finally the Game winning goal was scored midway through the second half, by Syracuse. Colgate was unable to clear a cross, and it was put in the goal. Colgate continued to try to even the score, but was unable to. The game will go down as a 1-0 loss against the orangewomen.
October 28th - Army 5 pm Game Preview and Pre Game The Cadets finished 3rd place in the PL last year and has 3 players returning who recieved post season honors and the PL coach of the year. Last season, they pulled off an upset win, beating Colgate 2-0 at West Point. The Preseason poll placed Army back at number 3, even taking some first place votes. Army is still in the running for one of the final playoff spots with a 2-3 record prior to this game. They have been playing well though, and will need to be taken seriously. Results Army started off in control. But Colgate turned the tide 20 minutes in and never looked back. 12 different Red Raiders tried thier luck with a shot. 4 different players scored, including 2 freshman, and one from Yvonne Gyimah off the bench. Sena Maziarz struck first on a penalty shot. I really didn't like what I saw from Army after that, the dirty play and all. It was really unneccesary, and something I always thought was uncharachteristic for Army. Colgate goes on to win 4-1, clinching the PL regular season title, while Army has been knocked out of the top 4 for the rest of the season.
October 31st - At Lafayette 2:30 pm Game Preview and Pre Game The Leopards are quite possibly the worst team in the league. Last season they were 0-6 in league play. Colgate did only beat them in overtime though, and they have lost just one player. They also have one of the best recruiting classes in the league. The preseason polls even have them ranked ahead of Lehigh. Lafayette has done pretty good this year, they only have 1 league win, but lots of very close games, including 2 overtime losses. Lafayette is not going to the post season, so they have nothing to hold back on on this, thier last game of the season. Results Freakin A, Colgate pretty much put in thier second team to rest up for this weekends tournament, and the second string almost pulled it off. The Red Raiders were not shooting as much, and it came down to two of the first string players scoring unassisted goals to keep Colgate in the game. It seemes like the defense broke down just enough to allow the Leopards at the net. The final go ahead goal was scored on Kate Jassin with just 5 minutes left in the game. Colgate still maintains the number 1 seed, and Lafaytte still will be sitting out for the playoffs, but Colgate losses a second league game this year 3-2.
November 4th- Navy Patriot League Championship tournament Game Preview and Pre Game This is a rematch of last years exciting tournament finale. This time, the winner only gets to advance to the finals to meet the winner of the Holy Cross and Bucknell game. Navy is unbeaten in it's past 8 games, including a win against the Red Raiders in Maryland. Colgate finishes first in the league with 19 goals in league games, while only allowing 7. Navy has only scored 10 league goals, but have allowed just 8. Colgate still owns the series with 9 wins and 2 losses, but Navy thinks if they win this game, they can win the tournament. The Midshipmen have had a solid season, with one exception this year, they have not lost by more than a single goal. Colgate will need to play a complete game and keep the pressure on them to advance to the championships on Sunday. Results Colgate got ahead early, then held on for the win! Sena Maziarz found Kate Barrett on a free kick for the first goal, while Angela Puliofico put in the second at close range. Colgate was on the defensive for a large part of the game, more than one ball hit the post, and a few narrowly missed thier target. Navy would cut the lead in half, but that would be it. For the 5th time in the past 6 seasons, the Red Raider's put a stop to Navy's post season hopes and avenge a regular season loss to advance to the finals.
November 5th- Holy Cross Patriot League Finals, at Van Doren Field Game Preview and Pre Game Colgate scored a convincing regular season 4-0 win over the Crusaders in the regular season. The second seeded Holy Cross advanced with a dominating win over Bucknell. The score was 1-0, but the play was a rout. Since losing to Colgate, Holy Cross has played a pretty solid season. The post season honors have already been announced, and 5 Holy Cross players found thier way onto one of the all league teams. Colgate had 4 players on all league teams, and Sena Maziarz was the leagues offensive player of the year, and Kate Barrett the rookie of the year. This is going to be one exciting game, with an auto bid on the line, this game is going to come down to Colgate's defensice corps. Sarah Mirza was the only one with post season honors, but Colgate has an excellent backfield and they will need to hold off the Crusaders. If we get goal production like we did in the regular season, then the game should go our way. Results Colgate played hard, but did not get the breaks they needed. In a very physical game, Holy Cross controlled the pace early. Colgate lost two starting midfielders due to injury, and that weakness was showing in the early part of the game. Colgate did regain control of the game, but it was Holy Cross who scored the first, and only, goal of the game. The shot was just out of the reach of a jumping Jenny Molina. Colgate battled back even harder after that, but could not find the net. There were numerous chances to score the equalizer, but none of them worked out. Holy Cross opted for only 1 foward at this game, looking to cling to that one goal lead. As the second half wore on, you could tell that the Red Raider's knew they were in trouble. Coach Brawn was substituting more than usual, and the Red Raiders were fighting hard for that goal. Time was running down, and Colgate was subbing every play to preserve every second possible. There would be no comeback though. Time ran out and Holy Cross would celebrate a 1-0 win and their first Patriot League title, while a stunned Colgate team looked on. For the first time in 4 years, there would be no bid for the NCAA tournament, and for only the second time, the league cup would not be held at Colgate. Looking at the cup itself, you could notice that for the past two seasons, we had not been even adding our name plate to it, last years championship was signified by a piece of masking tape with "colgate" written on it with a marker. At least the cup will be hosted this year by a team that has not taken it for granted, and maybe this will serve as a wake up call for Colgate that our program is not unbeatable. 3 league losses is almost unthinkable for Colgate, but this can be a learning experience. Second place in the post season, first in the regular season is something to be proud of, and even in defeat, the womens soccer team still proved that they are one of the toughest teams in the league.
Season in review For only the second time, the league title will not be spending the year at Colgate, the team still finished with a winning record, and competed against some good teams. When it was all over, several Red Raider's earned post season honors. In her senior season, Sena Maziarz earned the leagues offensive player of the year award and was all league first team. She led the league with 14 points in league games. Kate Barrett took home more honors for Colgate, by winning the leagues rookie of the year award and was a all league first team midfielder. Barrett tied for the league lead in assists and tallied 6 assists on the season. PRetty darn good for a midfielder, it's going to be good to have her around for the next few years. Sarah Mirza earned all league first team honors for a defensemen in her senior year. Her accomplishments will not quickly be forgotten. She was one of the players who led the team this year and kept Colgate in any game it was in. Angela Puliofico earned a slot on the second team. She scored 6 times, including 3 game winners. Her skill and reputation ensured that there would usually be more than one defender on her, which opened up other lines of attack. Mandy Palladino and Meghan Merriman were both overlooked in the post season awards, but both were key to the teams success, and will be vital players in next years campain. Colgate also has one of the best defenses in the league. In addition to Mirza, Caitlin Kummer improved tremendously this year, and her aggressive style thwarted many attacks. The big foot of Lauren Kaufmen was also key in clearing the ball away and holding opponents at bay. And finally, in her first year as starting goalie, Jenny Molina surpassed a lot of expectations to prove to be one of the best net minders in the league. She had the lowest goals against average in the league. In 28 hours in net, she allowed just 26 goals and recorded 5 shutouts. This was a season to be proud of, but I'm sure three league losses in one year does not sit well with the team. As with any great dynasty, even though some are graduating, more will be waiting to take thier they place next year. Congradulations to this years seniors, and good luck to next years team!
