Amodeus Slain by Warrior Mouse of Redwall Abbey electric_dragon14 (Gaston D.)

In the quarry north-east of Redwall Abbey, the gaint adder, Amodeus, was slain by Matthias, a warrior of Redwall.  Matthias ventured to the quarry after he met Captain Snow, an owl, who told him where the adder lived.  Matthias was searching for the adder because it was said that he had the sword of Martin the Warrior, a warrior who helped found Redwall.  Matthias entered Asmodeus's burror with  Guosim and Log-a-log.      Sadly, Guosim was killed by Asmodeus.  Matthias found Asmodeus while he was sleeping, and saw the sword of Martin behind him!  Matthias crept behind the adder, took the sword, and met up with Log-a-log, who awoke the snake.  As the snake chased them, Matthias made a hole in the wall that led to another room.  WHen Asmodeus came through the hole, he got stuck, and that is where Asmodeus was killed.      Matthias then headed back to Redwall to help defend Redwall against Cluny (but that's another story).

Mousemaid Dies, Warrior Weeps triss_swordmaid (Kelsey S.)

Today is the day that we learned the sad fate of Laterose, only love of Martin the Warrior, beautiful singer, and former resident of Noonvale.  Both the warrior mouse and Rose were members of the Fur and Freedom Fighters, which was a group of former Marshank slaves and members of the Rambling Rosehip Players.  They were attempting to destroy Badrang the Tyrant and his fortress, Marshank, and in so doing, free the rest of the slaves sentenced to serve their lives there.  In this they were successful, but their success was not without the taint of loss.      In their heroic effort to liberate Marshank, Laterose of Noonvale was killed by Badrang the Tyrant.  There to avenge her death was Martin the Warrior, who in turn killed Badrang, but the fact that her murderer is dead is little consolation to those who knew the mousemaid.      A moment of silence will be held tomorrow for the mouse who gave her life so others could be free.  A rose will bloom forever in our hearts!

Search for Missing Young Ones Aided by Lone Otter cool_canadian27

Today, the search for the missing young ones, kidnapped by Slager the Cruel, will be aided by a young otter named Cheek.  Cheek was found under the kidnapper's abandoned cart after the initial accident.  Cheek has no parents and will go with the rescuers led by Matthias, the abbey warrior.  The only thing that we at Redwall can do now is help with the riddle that the Abbot has found.  The resucers are believed to be okay and able to find the tracks.  The resuce party consists of three parents, Matthias the Warrior, and Jess Squirrel.  Also, Basil Stag Hare is going with them as head of tracking.  More later.
