| AMIMALS HAVE FEELINGS I am told that animals have no feelings And they don’t know how to cry, But I have proven, This to be a lie. An incident happened just today That brought tears to me eyes, For a little kangaroo Sat alone on the side of the road. For you see her mate had been Killed, in the middle of the road, We saw her sit with him And how her sadness showed. The hurt upon her little face Was just too much to bear, This heart-wrenching incident Right there upon our road. She sat with him the long day through, Which really goes to show That animals do have feelings Especially, this little doe. BY Sue Scott |
