I just want to encourage anyone who has problems to just keep trying because you CAN succeed! When I was a baby, I was very sick, and I had 23 surgeries.

Oireachtas 2000

It was exciting to dance solo at the Oireachtas. Here I am waiting (in the red dress) and then me onstage.

MY STORY:

My name is Kristy and I've been dancing for four years. I am Prizewinner Level. In December 2000, I danced in the Oireachtas in Memphis, TN. I danced solo and figures. I am eleven and my birthday is October 9th. Here are two recent pictures of me practicing at my friend's house:

I am in the fifth grade. Basically all I do is dance! I love to play in the snow and eat candy. My favorite food is spaghetti. Some of my friends are Kelly, Jordan, Denise, Carson, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Kathleen, Katie, Hillary, and Haylee. Some of them dance, and some don't. I want to play soccer, but the soccer games are always during dance practice on Saturday.

My Mom and three of my sisters dance. We're all pretty serious dancers. Here are some more dancing pictures.

This is my team for figures before the Worlds 2000

In April 2000, I went to the Worlds for figures and we won 12th place. It was really, really, really, scary! I was kind of nervous and then again I wasn't. We saw a lot of things in Ireland. I got sick because I slept next to the heater.
