James is the original founder of the band, seeking the help of girlfriend and best friend Joanna, best male friends Michael Moncrieff and Peter Worth, and long time scince-buddy and friend Louise Hall.
The name took a while, a the word "red" was thrown about a lot, when finally the name was decided upon whilst James was on holiday in Italy.
Progress has been slow and painstakingly thought over, but with the initial objective of 7 original tracks and some covers near complete with the intention of an original demo EP and some live shows, first in the local town of Melton Mowbray and then in the rest of the world.
The sound, influences and style have something for most, and as the time to push Refermentia into the spotlight approaches, we hope that you will enjoy the refermentian experience as much as we are.
