Here is the f.a.q. section. Here you may find the answers to some questions you may have about refermentia.
How do you pronounce "refermentia"?
Officially, it's pronounced "reff err men shee a". Unofficially of course, it's pronounced however the hell you want to say it, as long as it sounds right to you.

Why don't you have a vocalist yet?
Because we haven't found the right person yet. The right vocalist is essential and will determine just how well things go with this band, and first of all we have to know this person well and trust them as well as having them be a good singer.

Who takes the pictures?
Our good friend Nicholas Welch, who is also our roadie and sound technician. Alex Wesson, another friend of ours, has also taken some of the pictures.

How do you pronounce "Sochacka"?
Try pronouncing it "Sahaska" and you might just sound right. Practise it regularly.

When do you hope to have a demo/the Pure Red EP out?
When it's ready. Unlike some bands, we actually care what our recordings sound like. We are also in the writing stage at the moment so when that is finished we will be well on our way. We shall let you all know as soon as it is ready.

Who shall do the vocals until a permanent vocalist arrives?
(Updated)
At the moment, it is unclear whether we even need a permanent vocalist. Whilst James shall contribute most lead vocals, Louise has agreed to do a small amount and Pete sings on his favourite cover song. We seem to be coping absolutely fine without a standalone singer at present.

Will your live sets be mostly covers or originals?

At the moment the only songs we have practised have been cover songs, although many songs are in the writing process and we hope to get a set that is about 50% original and 50% cover songs before we get any shows organised.

Do you have an official fan club?

No, but we can make one if you're really
that interested. Until then, make your own fan club. Tell your friends about the band, please do spread the word.

How will I be able to buy the Pure Red EP?

Let one of the band know and they will happily sell you a copy. But we haven't made it yet. It won't be very expensive so don't worry.

When are you going to do a show?

When we have enough material for you to hear, and when we feel we can put on the best show that we can. We'll let you know.

What does "refermentia" mean?

Absolutely nothing - it's a made up word which we all decided would be a good name. Ask James for further details.

Why have you taken so long to get started?

A number of factors really, mainly being because we want the songs to be great, memorable and worthy of attaining potential fans. Other factors include changing schedules and practical communication barriers which take time.
