APPROX HEIGHT AT MATURITY: 16.1hh - 16.3hh SIRE: Salute the Stars (NZWB) Grand Prix Show jumper DAM: Regal Lady xx by Beaufort Sea VACC: vaccinated Tetanus / stangles REG: branded and registered NZWBA TRAINING: Mozzie was broken in by Leslie Matheson (top dressage rider) about 6 months ago. He stayed with her for about 8 weeks before being turned out. He then returned to Leslies to be schooled, and was taken to one dressage outing where he scored 70% in his second test ever. After staying with Leslie for a further 10 weeks he returned to me and has been turned out since. JUMPING: Mozzie freejumped as a 2yr old and competed in the freejumping at Horse of the year for a 3rd place. We jumped him up to about 130cm which he coped with very well. He appears to have good technique and a good attitude toward jumping. Since being started under saddle he has only done a few small jumps and poles on the ground. OTHER: Mozzie is the sort of horse who requires one owner who he really trusts, but given that, there is nothing stopping him from making it in and equestrian discipline. |
