| Harken has been neutered and spends his time laying around the house in retirement. . We worked him in herding, earning his Standard sheep and duck titles - where he received the nick name "Barkin' Harken" ! We tried him in agility - but he barked too much to hear the commands ! We tried him in obedience - but he barked too much to qualify ! We tried him in flyball - where barking is ok - but he barked too much to hold on to the ball ! Kalla used to show him in juniors - but he barked all the time! This barkin' boy just likes to lay around and get his ears rubbed - what a life ! He does have a wonderful son, Regatta's Celestial Ram, who is very successful in agility. He also has that special Harken knack for "expression" ! We do plan on continuing Harkens stock training, as he has a natural talent. So despite his love to hear his own voice, we will continue to train him on stock. He is pretty much fun to work. ~ |
