Kalla has enjoyed showing in Juniors since she was 5yrs old, with our Tillie. She has become quite a successful Junior and all around handler. She has had to be a versatile handler because all our dogs are very different from each other. She has won many Best Juniors with Harken, Kevlar, Kira, and Britt. She has, of course, had her share of non placements too. Her most recent and shining accomplishment was wining the Junior Showmanship 13-17 class and Best Junior Handler at the 2003 ASCA National Specialty in WI with Britt, under Breeder Judge ~ Shelly Hollen. Altho coming close to the ASCA 500 club in past years, this award seems to elude her. Kalla has had her set backs and our family has had its share of hearthbreaking times. The 2004 season will be her last year as a Junior and she has her work cut out for her. I couldnt be more proud of her. *. |
