| The Four Worlds The Lord of Nightmares created four worlds. These four worlds rest on staves, which protrude from the Sea of Chaos. On each world is a God and a Dark Lord. (The four Dark Lords are Ruby-Eye Shabranigdo, Darkstar, Chaotic Blue, and Death Fog. The four Gods are Ceiphied, Vorfied, and two others whose names are unknown.) The God and Dark Lord are in constant battle with each other. The Battle of Shabranigdo and Ceiphied The God and Dark Lord fighting in the Slayers world are Ceiphied and Shabranigdo. Ceiphied managed to split Shabranigdo into seven pieces and seal them, but it took all of his strength to do so. Since Shabranigdo was not destroyed, the battle was not over. The Mazoku The mazoku are demons. Their main goal is to spread chaos and destruction throughout the world. They feed on negative emotions. The mazoku exist in the astral plane, so normal magic and weapons do not affect them. Only Shamanist/spirit magic and weapons like the Sword of Light will damage them. Also, black magic that calls on the power of a stronger mazoku can damage weaker mazoku. The mazoku hierarchy is this. The four Dark Lords of the four worlds each have subordinates. The subordinates of Shabranigdo are Deep Sea Dolphin, Dynast Grauscherra, Chaos Dragon Gaav, Hellmaster Phibrizo, and Greater Beast Zelas-Metallium. Each of these subordinates has two more subordinates: a priest and a general. The only exceptions are Dynast, who has two priests, and Zelas-Metallium, who only has Xellos acting as both. |
