| Xellos and Lina Though it may not often seem like it, Lina dislikes Xellos. She knows that he is a mazoku, and even before she knew, she knew he was not to be trusted. She gets quite annoyed when Xellos tells her that "It's a secret." Xellos acts quite friendly with Lina, but only because she is important to his mission. Xellos often uses Lina in his plans, but Lina then uses him to her own advantage, so it kind of balances out in the end. Xellos and Gourry Xellos and Gourry almost never interact with each other. Gourry trusts Lina's judgement of Xellos, simply because he doesn't know any better. He merely goes along with Lina and her ideas, as opposed to forming his own opinion of Xellos. Xellos and Amelia Amelia believes in justice and peace, and mazoku stand for everything opposite that. Therefore, Xellos and Amelia don't really get along. Amelia gets angry when Xellos does something bad. She even tortures him by repeating the phrase, "Life is wonderful" which has a terrible effect on the mazoku. She always says that he should become a good person. I can't say that she doesn't like him, she just disapproves of his actions. But, being a mazoku, he can hardly change that. Xellos and Zelgadis From the first time they met, Zelgadis has not liked Xellos one bit. He did not trust him and hated his secretive nature. Zel was especially mad at Xellos for destroying the Claire Bible manuscript. I doubt he ever forgave him for that. Xellos and Martina At first, Martina was in love with Xellos. And Xellos did not mind her around at first. But when she learned that he was a mazoku, she was upset and wanted revenge. Her true opinion of him is a bit unclear, but she has a grudge against him and mazoku, so she doesn't like him anymore. Xellos and Filia These two definitely don't get along. Filia hates Xellos because he is a mazoku and he killed thousands of her kind a thousand years ago. She refuses to even get near him, and insults him by calling him "namagomi" (garbage). Xellos is annoyed by Filia's treatment of him and constantly tries to get her back for it. He tries to get along with her at first, but she refuses to cooperate, and the two begin to argue. |
