Auric Protection
Before embarking on any form of mental/spiritual development, it is essential that you are able to control and strengthen your own aura.
We know that words can harm as much as sticks and stones.
And we have also learned that even unspoken thoughts and beliefs and feelings can leave their mark. 
Looking at the effects of energetic attack, and finding ways to protect and recover from the spiritual assaults that wound us.
When we begin to work with energy-where it comes from, how to hold and use it, what and who drains it, we take new steps on the path of spiritual awareness.
To be protected in this way means that our boundary is secure, and we keep out negative thoughts, feelings, and projections sent to us by others.
When our boundaries are breached, we will take on these negative beliefs about ourselves.
We can feel depleted, depressed, and empty, vulnerable to other people's stuff. A healthy boundary allows in good support, but keeps out whatever is toxic to us.
Exercise


Visualise a beautiful white light above your head . . .
Feel that light begin to surround your body . . .
Allow your body to fill up with the light and use it to nourish your organs and tissue . . .
Your body acts like a sponge and absorbs all the light it can . . .
Every cell of your body is being bathed by the light . . .
You are becoming a glowing being of light . . .
Take a deep breath and feel the peace and love as your body completely relaxes.

Close your eyes and imagine or sense that you are creating a bubble of light, extending to about 2 feet around your self, which is composed of your chosen colour.
Make sure that this light is above your head, as well as under your feet.

Sense or imagine this light expanding and contracting until you feel that you have found the most comfortable distance.
• Sense or imagine this light alternating between being stationary and spinning like a top.
• Open your eyes and sense this protection is still around you.

When you have tried this out with one colour, try another.

Assess which colour you feel most comfortable with you and note down any other feelings or sensations.
