Rediscovered the long forgotten art of Tibetan healing back in the late 19th century.

After Dr. Usui passed on, Dr. Hayashi became the leader of Reiki.

Dr. Hayashi developed the practice of treatments by using specific hand placements over the body.

Reiki was brought to the west by Hawayo Takata, a Japanese lady who lived in Hawaii.

and before her own death in 1980 she trained 22 Reiki Masters.

Mrs Takata's Granddaughter became Grand Master of Usui Reiki. Phyllis travels the world, guiding masters and students.
