AU romance fic. HxR or TxR, choose your favorite.
Alright, I had said that this story would be over in two long chapters...well I lied. I'm sorry, but the two chapters would be way too long. So I'm thinking that this fic will be done in next 3 to 4 chapters. I've had this story done for quite a while. It's just that I had been traveling on the same day I had finished which was 13 days ago.
So for those who have reviwed, those who waited paciently. Thank you and I'm sorry this took so long.
Also I wanted to correct the error I made in the last chapter. About the "oh so cute" scene when Trowa kissed Relena. Well, when Trowa had said 'te amor.' That was wrong. I found out(from a loyal reader, thanks!) that 'te amo' is 'I love you' or 'to you I love.' What I'm so angry about is that I'm taking Spanish and didn't realize my mistake.*sigh* Sorry. Well enjoy!
When Opposites Attract
Part 12
"Hilde do we have to do this?" Duo asked. Hilde glared at him.
"Yes Duo. The prom is in six days and we need to learn manners." she responded. "Now, where's the salad fork?"
"How am I suppose to know, there are at least eight forks here." Duo said. Hilde picked up one.
"This is the salad fork Duo, you're never going to learn." Hilde said.
"I don't want to." Duo said. "And why do we have to go to this restaurant?"
"Practice Duo, practice." Hilde responded.
"I have to agree with Duo, the only thing were going to do at the prom is dance." Sally said. Duo smiled.
"At least someone agrees with me." he said.
"Well, I have to agree with Hilde. We all need to learn a little manners." Catherine smiled. Duo frowned.
"What do you think Ojousan?" he asked. "Ojousan?" Everyone looked in Relena's direction and to see she was looking outside. She hadn't even listened to anything they had said.
"What's wrong with her?" Duo whispered to Hilde.
"I don't know, she's been acting like that since...since...come to think of it, she's been acting like that almost all year." Hilde responded. "I'm surprised I didn't notice it sooner."
"Can you figure out what's wrong with her?" Catherine asked Sally. Sally blinked.
"What can I do?" she asked.
"Well...your taking courses to be a doctor." Duo said.
"Yeah, but I want to be a medical doctor. I'm not a love doctor." Sally said.
"Could at least try a see what's wrong with her?" Hilde asked. Sally sighed.
"Fine, give me a paper and pen." she said. Catherine handed her the materials. "Now, I'll need quiet."
Sally walked over to Relena and sat next to her. She looked at her for a moment. Her face was slightly flushed her eyes dreamy. Besides that she looked okay.
Sally raised her hand and waved it in front of Relena's face. Relena didn't react. Sally wrote something on the paper. The others watched carefully. Sally thought for a moment, then said one word.
"Trowa." Relena blushed a deep red color. Duo blinked.
"You never did that when you liked me Hilde." he said. Hilde smacked his shoulder and looked back at Relena and Sally. Sally had wrote something else down and was now looking back up at Relena.
"Heero." she said. The blush from before couldn't compare to this one. Duo burst out laughing.
"Lena looks like a tomato." he said.
Hilde glanced at Duo then stood up and walked over to Relena. She sat down in front of her.
"Duo." she said. Instantly Relena's face went back to it's regular color. Sally looked at Hilde. Hilde shrugged.
"Just in case." she said simply.
"So what's wrong with Relena?" Catheirne asked.
"It's simple." Sally responded. "She's head-over-heels in love."
"But with two guys?" Duo asked. Sally smiled.
"I'm afraid so." she responded.
"Why don't you want to go?" Catherine asked.
"I'm busy." Trowa responded.
"Your lying." Catherine said. Trowa looked at her.
"And why do you want me to go?" he asked. Catherine smiled.
"No reason actually." she said. Trowa raised an eyebrow.
"There has to be a reason." he said.
"Relena, will be there." Catherine said. Somthing flashed in Trowa's eyes and was gone as quickly as it came.
"Please, Trowa come." Catherine pleaded. Trowa sighed.
"Fine I'll go." he said.
"Good." Catherine said as she handed him the piece of paper. "The address is on there. Be there at seven."
"So you want to come?" Duo asked.
"I guess so." Heero replied. He looked a bit hesitant and Duo smiled.
"Everyone will be there, Ojousan too." he said. Duo's smiled widened when Heero's lips curved into an ever so slight smile at the mention of Relena.
"I'll go." Heero said.
"Great. Here's the address and see you at seven." Duo left Heero's apartment and headed to his house.
As soon as he reached the door, Hilde had forced him to sit at the kitchen table.
"Now which one is the salad fork?" Hilde asked. Duo looked at the many forks layed in front of him. Forget science, math, social studies, and english tests he had taken. Not to metion S.A.T. This had to be the hardest thing he had done.
He sighed and picked up a fork. He looked Hilde. She looked at him for a moment before a smile appeared on her face.
"Congrats Duo." she said. Duo smiled.
"It was easy." Duo said. Hilde raised an eyebrow.
"If it was so easy, how come it took you 5 days to finally figure it out?" she asked.
"I just needed to refresh my memory." Duo responded. Hilde suddenly got serious.
"Now Duo remember what I told you." she said.
"Yeah, yeah I remember." Duo said with a sigh. "Always be polite because mannners matter."
"Good, now let's get ready." Hilde said.
"Looks like I'm not the last one here." Relena said taking a seat. Hilde Duo, Quatre and Dorothy had already arrived.
"Everyone else should be here soon." Hilde said. Soon later everyone else came one by one. When Heero had arrived he had sat next to Relena. Trowa and Catherine had arrived soon after Heero. When Trowa saw the two sitting together he sat across from them.
Small conversation had gone on through the group but during that time Trowa kept giving Relena looks. Later on a wiatress came and took their orders. After the waitress had left Duo stood up.
"Where are you going Duo?" Hilde asked.
"Men's room, be back soon." he said before leaving the table. Trowa's eyes narrowed when he saw Heero lean in and say something to Relena which made her smile. Catherine looked at Trowa and had noticed his eyes had narrowed.
She followed his gaze to see that he was looking at Heero and Relena. She knew right then and there something was going to happen. When Heero surprisingly kissed Relena's cheek, cacthing her and everyone else by surprise.
Trowa broke.
"That's it!" he exclaimed. Everyone looked at Trowa, and that meant everyone in the restaurant. It was a very very rare thing to see Trowa make an oburst like that. Probably as far as everyone knew, Catherine hadn't even seen him make an outburt like that. But expect the unexpected.
"Relena, do you love Heero or me?!" Trowa asked. Everyone's heads turned towards Relena who had suddenly gone pale.
"Oh no.." she mumbled.
"Trowa sit down." Catherine said.
"No." he said. He turned his gaze back to Relena. "I kissed you and..."
"What?!" Everyone's gaze went to Heero. He stood up and glared at Trowa.
"No, no, no." Hilde wailed. "Why now?"
"You kissed her?" Heero asked.
"I did." Trowa replied. "She isn't yours."
"She is!" Heero exclaimed. "She always has been." A waiter had been pushing a cart by the table and Heero grabbed one of the pies.
"Heero don't do it." Relena said. Heero ignored her and threw the pie at Trowa. But Trowa had easily gotten away. The pie had hit Catherine right in the face. Everyone looked at Catherine while she removed the pie from her face.
She stood up and grabbed something from the cart. It was a bowl of salad top with dressing, and a whole lot of it. Witout another second wasted, the salad was out of her hands and heading for Heero. Heero dodged it and it hit Relena.
Relena let out a little whimper. And she thought she would have a fun time tonight. She moved the bowl away from her face and wiped the dressing away. She grabbed a pitcher of ice water and poured it all on Catherine. Before anyone knew, everyone was up throwing food in different directions.
Ten minutes later....
Hilde sank in the chair her breathing back to normal. She was covered in white, green, orange and all kinds of other food. The same with everyone else. That's when the braided young man came out of the bathroom.
He looked around at the whole resturant. Food was all over the walls and people were covered in it. He made his way back to the table and looked at everyone. He smiled.
"So...what I miss?" he asked.
Hilde put her head in her hands and wailed. The night had been ruined.
Alright, how was it? Good or Bad? Another change of plans, this story will be over by the next This chpater is the senior prom, the chapter where Relena decides and the chapter where Trowa or Heero get their heart broken. So choose who your rooting for, HxR or TxR. Oh, and choose wisely.
Also another thing, I'm not sure if Trowa and Heero were a little OOC in this chpater. If they were sorry.
I just wanted to have a little fun with them. *grins* If there were any spelling mistakes, sorry again but you've guys have waited so paceintly and I want you to know the ending.
Just to repay you back I haven't told anyone yet. But I'm working on a new story that won't come out in a while. It's a TxR romance strictly. I'm not going to say anymore, I don't want to ruin the surprise.
