I relocated back to my lovely hometown of Melbourne, Australia in mid-2005 after living for a number of years in far off and wonderful places like Argentina, the UK and Mexico.
Writing Experience
Predominantly commercial, although I've flirted with sports journalism, editing and various in-house publications. I had a stint in publishing with Dorling Kindersley in London in 1995-96 and then pursued commercial freelance back in Australia.
Over the years I've contributed sports pieces to a number of publications, including Inside Sport, www.cricinfo.com, Wisden Annual and various regional newspapers in the UK and Australia. Occasionally, I'd like to think, someone read them.
From 2000 to 2002 I was editing and writing features for www.thenewsmexico.com, Latin America's only 24 news website in English (a function now filled by the Miami Herald). What a circus.
Just for something different, I also contribute interviews, gig reviews and album reviews for the wonderfully independent Melbourne music weekly, Inpress. Long may it reign.
General Information
Non-fiction buff, music junkie, amateur historian, cricket coach, wanderer and photographer. Leafy Melbourne is now home for a while.
