Chapter Seven
Power of the Emerald Moon
Thea opened her eyes only to realize she was not in her own room, sitting up she looked around in panic then realised she was in the room she visited almost as often as her own. She had fallen asleep once again in Glenn’s arms, and obviously he had taken her here as her room was locked. Quietly getting to her feet she looked around and spotted what she had been searching for, “Glenn...” she whispered as she crept over and knelt by his side. Looking over him she noticed he still wore the white shirt from last night, and assumed he had been wearing the caramel coloured breeches as well. Solid muscle stretched over his wiry frame, he was solid, but not as broad shouldered as Karsh, or even his own brother, Dario. Though she seemed to like that, she herself being smaller in size than even that of lovely Riddel made Glenn the perfect size for her ideal mate. Pushing back the silky hair which hung in his face and running her finger along his forehead she smiled, the brunette enjoying seeing the swordsman she loved so peaceful. Thea brought herself to her feet, “ Sleep well my love.. "She whispered, then exited the room quietly.

Riddel and Norris walked into the main chamber where Dario sat at a desk observing the green land Octopus-like creature while he took a break from his reading.
“Dario honey, have you talked to Thea this morning?” asked Riddel, almost panicking.
Dario turned to see his wife, clothed in an elegant baby blue dress, looking more dazzling than a bellflower itself. Next to her stood the newest member of the Dragoons, previously of the opposition, Norris, who also had a concerned look on his face.
“Is something wrong?” questioned Dario, now concerned himself, as he stood and walked over to the pair.
“Thea was supposed to meet us this morning for breakfast,”stated the newest dragoon,   “Yet she never showed, and is no where to be found in the Manor..”
“Dario, we must do something!” pleaded Riddel, “If she has left the Manor she could be in danger, she had no means of protecting herself....”
Dario stood in silence for a moment, then finally spoke, “if she is missing, where is Glenn? I would think he would be with you two searching for her, as she and he seem quite close..”
Riddel looked up at her husband, “ I-In.. All the confusion my mind must’ve become clouded.. You’re right, I’m sure Glenn will know her whereabouts..” said Riddel as she began to calm down.
“Shall we go to his room then? I have not seen him as of yet this morning, I would assume he is still in his quarters.” stated Norris as he consulted with the others.
“Yes, to the west wing then..” added Dario as the trio started on their way down stairs.

Glenn awoke suddenly to a knock at his door, looking around he realized where he was, taking a quick glance towards his bed he noticed that Thea, whom he’d laid down to sleep last night was gone, even the sheets were pulled back neatly. Felling sad and disappointed, Glenn was quickly pulled from mourning as another knock came to his door then a familiar male voice, “Glenn, are you in there?”
Rising to his feet, opening the door and scratching his head Glenn came face to face with the trio of Riddel, Dario and Norris.
“Still in bed Glenn!? That is not like you brother..” Dario mumbled, “Is something wrong?”
“..erm, huh? Oh no.. I was just up late last night attending to Miss Thea and then I could not get to sleep for awhile.. Very poor discipline of me I know..” said Glenn with hazy eyes..
“Do excuse my interrupting,” murmured Riddel, “But speaking of Thea, Glenn, have you see her today? She was supposed to meet with Norris and I for breakfast this morning, it is now a little past 11am and she is nowhere to be found!”
“.. W-What? N-No.. I am sorry, I have not seen her today, sadly..” stuttered Glenn as he began thinking to himself.
“Of course you have no seen her today.. You have been asleep all morning,” taunted Norris whom was decked in his usual blue jumpsuit, yet today he had not worn his commanders jacket, and had brushed his hair back rather than parting it on the side.
“Oh Dario!”Cried Riddel as she fell into her husbands arms, “ what if she comes into harms way, I cannot lose her now, she is like a sister to me I-”
“Do not fret,” interrupted Glenn, putting a hand upon Riddel’s shoulder, “I know where she is...”
“H-How do you... Where!?” Riddel sniffed, as she looked at Glenn question upon her face and tearful eyes, the other two men also gave wondering glances towards the young boy before them.
“As you had said last night... I found Thea in the library asleep amongst some books, and so I took her and put her to bed,” explained Glenn, intentionally refraining from stating that fact that he had put her in *his* bed. “But I had seen the title’s of some of the books, various volume’s containing knowledge of summons, demi-humans and flowers.. She has always been interested in the things and people around her, as well has asked to come with me the next time I visit Termina.. My best bet would be she has gone to the city..”
“I.. Never knew she yearned to see the city,” said Norris, “ for I would’ve taken her on one of my weekly trips there..”
“Aye, she had not informed me of such longings until only a couple days ago..”
“Then we must go find her!” blurted Riddel and she wiped the tears from her face.
“Riddel... Have you forgotten.. Your father asked you, Norris and myself  to go to go to Hydra mash and survey the adolescent Hydra’s today..” Dario mentioned.
“But we...” Riddel trailed off.
“I shall go find Miss Thea, I’m sure she will not be hard to find..” Glenn
Dario nodded, “Very well then, let none of us waste any more time..”
“Thank you Glenn... I..” Riddel looked down at her hands.
“Yes I know you care very much for her.. As do I.. And the others I’m sure. No need to thank me, I take pleasure in such a job, I too want to see her return to us safely..” Glenn smiled as he explained.
“Well then it is settled Riddel, Norris and I shall go to Hydra Marsh, Glenn shall find Thea, as well Karsh and Marcy can watch over the Manor, though that should not be a problem as Porre has left, and.. Well we have their best soldier in the dragoons now!” exclaimed Dario as he patted Norris on the back.
