A&S held in the Barony of Windhaven on April 6, 2002

There was brief court before judging began where a lady (who’s name I failed to catch) received an Order of the Pyxis from the reign of Kenneth and Leyla. Also, an Order of the Cavandish Knot was granted to Lady Sadb Nia of the Ravens

Evening Court:

Baroness Deidre of Windhaven gave her thanked people for coming that day. This was followed by the Their Stellar Highnesses Niklos and Aramanthra and Their Excellencies Raito and Eleshava.

Then came the Coronet’s choices for favorite entry. Niklos chose Lady Sadb Nia of the Ravens for the Armor she had created. Lady Sadb Nia had presented all of her documentation verbally and HsH Niklos "grilled her like a barbeque sandwich" and she took it "like a trooper. Next HsH Aramanthra chose Ottar Hraffsusson for his collection of Norse bronze jewelry which she found to be "A-MA-ZING". Lord Ottar is from the Proto-incipent Shire of Skerrstrand (a group of "phenomenal people" to quote HsH Niklos), who had recently applied to be part of the Northshield. For Her token she gave a Mongolian Passport (a sort of metal plate) which would allow the people of Skerrstrand to travel freely into the borders of Northshield. For HE Eleshava’s choice she also chose Ottar but for his Hneftafle game board. HE Raito chose Danyal Bahram Ravani for his Sumi-e painting. He gave Danyal a scroll which he in turned asked His Excellency to translate—after looking at it very carefully HE Raito handed it back stating "Its all in women’s characters"

Sidebar: On Danyal’s way up to court he had been carrying his small daughter which HsH Niklos took for safe keeping. When he went to take the child back he explained that there was a rule in the house hold that one can’t give a baby back unless they had checked to make sure the baby was dry. She was but HsH Niklos added "what did you think that I wouldn’t change her right here." To which a heckler added that we could all then take pictures and embarrass her greatly when she got older.

The Division champions were then announced. Each division was represented by a patron.

Division I: Ysolt was unable to be there so Kudrun presented on her behalf a token to THL Christian D’Hiver.

Division II: Patron Maddalena da Monreale gave a needlebook to Arriehne Ashland.

Division III: Herr Gevehard before presenting a cheeseboard he had previously entered that day to the champion gave it first to HsH Aramanthra who clapped it against her hand and yelled "Tarrach?!". The Champion was Oswin Attwater for his leather armour.

Division IV: Merouda Pendray gave her token to Magdalen Bowen for the gloves she had displayed. She gave her a token that she had once received for a scroll she made—inside were ink and a ring.

Division V: Roxelana Bramante gave her token to Magdelen Bowen for her barnacle tree (good illusion food).

There were four gentles who entered the pentathalon—Danyal Bahram Ravani, Magdelen Bowen, Gevehard von Baden, and Roxelana Bramante—with the championship going once again to Roxelana Bramante.

The Principality MOAS, Vicountess Fina ingen Aeda, was called up. Before she made her announcements, HsH Niklos asked "Did this event not rock?" and thanked her for making the "northshield look good today"

Vicountess Fina thanked everyone and announced that the Barony of Jaravellir had the highest overall points but had forgotten the banner.

HsH Aramanthra said, in regards to the Pentathalon champions that A&S is something very near and dear to her heart and whether or not they win, they put the effort forth to plan and research. She made it a point to find each entry and that the entrants had nothing to be ashamed of.

Then the "future of Northshield" the youth entrants were called forward—Gregor and Aidan.

HSH "did you have fun today"

Young Northshielder’s "yep"

HSH "okay" and gave them their prizes.

In Regency: delayed of 1990 the court of Their Royal Majesties Tadashi and Ariachi—"thus proving that no matter where you hide we will find you" Adela of Warren (sp?) received a Purple Fret.

HsH Niklos "You have worked hard for the Imperium; you shall be rewarded—eventually"

In Regency: delayed of 1986 the court of Their Royal Majesties Illiaho and Ellen

HSH Niklos "I feel like I’m tomb raider"
