As she read her response to the oath of the populace she had tears in her eyes and catered the structure of the words a bit to make them sound more personal.

Her Majesty explained that she liked to give candles to award recipients for starting out burning brightly and hoped that this would continue

As he came forward he corrected the pronunciation of this name the herald had a hard time pronouncing. Her Majestry responded "we only have heralds to pass your name, not announce it"

He received and AOA for leatherwork and for rescuing strangers. The last part HsH Niklos explains "so here’s the deal…car has a catastrophic emergency on the way back from Pensic" and this good general goes out of his way to assist them offering a place to stay and helps with arrangements for getting back. Niklos goes on to say "makes me proud I’m in the SCA…Amazing! Amazing" Aramanthra added "and he does nice leather work too."

At the end of court HRM called forward the scribes to give tokens of appreciation. And though Her closing words were stirring and too great to catch them all the resounding statement that stood out for this biased reporter was "I like being in Northshield"
