*Master Owen and Mistress Wyndreth announce the winners of the Bard of the Midrealm competition. Competitors were Gunnar, Ingrid, Cerian, Katerine, Brilliana, Fairfax, and Christian. THL Christian d’Hiver was named the victor. His Majesty Felix proclaimed this to be a great task and not a hollow title. "We expect you to work very hard to encourage bardic…we have been negligent as a Kingdom but we will be diligent as a King and Queen [to encourage bardic]"

*Barony of Windhaven—donated funds in sum of $900, Northshield’s half of the profits from Final Investiture/First Crown Tournament, to be given to the endowment fund. "It is your populace who is donating"

*THL Dan’r—Mastermyr Collection replicas were on display and they raffled off a Viking tripod to pay for shipping. The tripod was done entirely by hand including period tools. I did not catch the name of the winner.

*Chidlren of Northshield—Donated a gold paper mache griffin to Northshield.

TSH Hrodir as he handed tokens to the children: "Lots of goodies for you guys…never would have dedication when I was a young person [to create this]"

TSH Hrodir to the Griffin: "I think I’m gonna call it Berwyn. It’s smooth like Berwyn"

*Medb of Twin Rose—Northern Cross—Illumination joined with the gift of organization to serve a Principality. Maeve was responsible for delivering 53 scrolls to the event and when she arrived she asked if there was anything else she could do.

*Order of the Crwth Called forward—

TSH Hrodir: "My wonderful Order of the Crwth. Long have you entertained us…"

[Side note] at WW for the last two years, Ingus Moen has stood at the entrance to the Great Hall and called the names of the next recipient over the crowd outside to be certain that all could hear.

Herald THL Mikey: "I don’t think he’s in the Hall but I believe he’s outside. Ingus, could you summon Ingus Moen into Court?"

Ingus was then inducted into the Order of the Crwth. The Crowd was much please.

TSH Hrodir: "[You] amazed mea t quest with that verse…thank you for inspiring us."

*Order of the Pyxis called forward. TSH Guilia gazed over the assembled group and commented on the shear magnitude of skill and beauty that each puts into their persona. Roisin ingen Ailil was added to their numbers. The Crowd was much pleased.

TSH Hrodir: "Thank you for all your hard work and unfortunately I’m going to ask you to keep it up. We need more people like you."

TSH Hrodir’s Final Words: He spoke of a meeting he had with a member of the Royal Family of Artemisia who threw in his doublet and said that they were better. They have two Griffins to our one. TSH Hrodir promised to pay back that glove with interest in one year’s time at the Glory War held in the Kingdom of the Outlands. He urged us to show Artemisia that it is Quality not Quantity that matters. His Highness also encouraged the populace to attend Pennsic War and "walk the line of honor" along with the Dragon.

*Tristan der Facheltragger—from what I could understand of what was said THL Tristan bested the Midrealm’s Thrown Weapons Champion. His Royal Majesty said his penance was to throw with the opposite hand until it was just as good. He did allow and hope that at Pennsic, THL Tristan would throw as well and could use the correct hand.

* Alaric of Blood Guard was added to the Red Company (read into court)

HRM Felix: "…served king after king and you have struck down foe and you have done it with grace and courtesy."

*Gevehard came into Court proclaiming that a find had been made of great importance. He bore a large marble slab with Viking writing. They called for Finn MacArt to translate what it said. Finn was inducted into the Order of the Evergreen.

HRM Felix: "Come to Court. You never know if we’re going to send you to the gallows or give you a big slab of stone."
